SPECIAL TRAINS TO BANGALORE

 To clear extra rush of passengers in Kochuveli - Bangalore sector, following special trains will  run 3 days a week from 01stOctober  2012 to 30th October 2012 as under.

          Train No.06316, Kochuveli – Bangalore  City Express will leave Kochuveli station at 16.30 hrs  o­n all Sundays, Mondays & Fridays from 01.10.2012 to 30.10.2012 and will reach  Bangalore City at 10.00 hrs. o­n the following day.  In the return direction, Train No.06315, Bangalore City  – Kochuveli Express will leave Bangalore City at 17.15 hrs o­n Mondays, Tuesdays & Saturdays to reach Kochuveli at 10.15 hrs. o­n the following  day.   With a composition of o­ne AC 2Tier, Three AC 3-tier, Fourteen Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class and Two luggage cum brake van coaches, the trains will stop Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam Jn., Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode and Salem stations.

 Advance  reservation for train  towards Bangalore will commence o­n 23 -09-12. Date of commencement of reservation for Train towards Kochuveli  will be intimated in due course.

2.Subsequent to introduction of special train as given above, there will be minor change in the timings of following trains, during October 2012, in specified days o­nly.

(a)Train No. 12684, Bangalore City- Ernakulam Junction Bi - weekly express of Tuesdays and Thursdays  will now leave Bangalore at  18.50 hrs instead of present 17.15 hrs and will reach Ernakulam Jn at 06-10 hrs instead of 04.15 hrs during the month of October.

(b)Train No. 22608, Bangalore City- Ernakulam Junction  weekly express of Mondays  will now leave Bangalore at  18.50 hrs instead of 17.15 hrs  and will reach Ernakulam Jn at 06-10 hrs instead of 04.15 hrs during the month of October.

(c)Train No. 16321, Bangalore City- Thiruvananthapuram Central weekly express of Thursdays  will now leave Bangalore at  17: 15 hrs instead of usual 18: 50 hrs (Early  starting)  and will arrive Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10:30 hrs instead of 11:10 hrs during the month of October.

(d)In the month of October 2012, Train no. 13351, Dhanbad - Alappuzhaexpress, TrainNo.16324, Shalimar- Thiruvananthapuram express and Train No. 56383, Ernakulam-Kayankulam passenger trains will reach their respective  destination stations 10 minutes in advance.

SCR to revise the Timings of few Passenger Trains

South Central Railway will revise the timings of the following Passenger Trains o­nKacheguda-Nizambad section with effect from 24th September 2012 as detailed below:-

1) Train No. 77687 Nizamabad-Kacheguda DEMU Passenger will depart Nizamabad at 14 25 hrs and arrive Kacheguda at 18 30 hrs. Enroute, this train will depart Dichpalli at 14 40 hrs, Indalvai at 14 48 hrs, Sirnapalli at 15 20 hrs, Uppalavai at 15 40 hrs, Kamareddi at 15 54 hrs, Talmadla at 16 04 hrs, Biknur at 16 10 hrs, Akanapet at 16 17 hrs,Mirzapalli at 16 31 hrs, Wadiaram at 16 42 hrs, Srinivasnagar at 16 46 hrs, Masaipet at 16 50 hrs, Manoharabad at 17 02 hrs, Medchal at 17 13 hrs, Gundla Pochampalli at 17 25 hrs, Bolarum at 17 36 hrs, Cavalary Barracks at 17 44 hrs, Malkajgiri at 17 56 hrsand Sitafalmandi at 18 08 hrs.

Enroute, this train will depart Medchal at 17 30 hrs, Gundla Pochampalli at 17 40 hrs, Bolarum at 17 48 hrs, Cavalary Barracks at 17 58 hrs, Malkajgiri at 18 07 hrsand Sitafalmandi at 18 10 hrs.

3) Train No. 77688 Kacheguda-Nizambad DEMU Passenger will depart Kacheguda at 18 40 hrs and arrive Nizamabad at 23 10 hrs. En-route, this train will depart Sitafalmandi at 18 49 hrs, Malkajgiri at 18 56 hrs, Cavalary Barracks at 19 02 hrs, Bolarum at 19 16 hrs. There will not be any change in the timings of this train at other stations en-route .

4) Train No. 77615 Secunderabad-Medchal DEMU Passenger will depart Secunderabad at 16 45 hrs and arrive Medchal at 18 00 hrs. Enroute, this train will departGundla Pochampalli at 17 42 hrs. There will not be any change in the timings of this train at other stations en-route.

           5) Train No. 57473 Kachiguda- Bodhan Passenger will depart Kachiguda at 16 10 hrs and arrive Bodhan at 22 45 hrs. Enroute, this train will depart Cavalry Barracks at 17 31 hrs, Bolarum at 17 50 hrs, Gundla Pochampalli at 17 58 hrs, Medchal at 18 10, Manoharabad at 18 24 hrs, Masaipet at 18 44 hrs, Srinivas Nagar at 18 49 hrs, Wadiaram at 18 55 hrs, Mirzapalli at 19 45 hrs. There will not be any change in the timings of this train at other stations en-route.

Stoppage at Raigarh

Ministry of Railways have decided to provide additional halt of 2 minutes to 15611/15612 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Kamakhya Karmabhoomi Unreserved Weekly Express at Raigarh station between Bilaspur and Jharsuguda w.e.f. 26.9.2012 o­n Experimental Basis for a period of six months. The detail timings at Raigarh station will be as under -

15611 Kamakhya Karmabhoomi Express will arrive Raigarh at 10.18 hrs and depart at 10.20 hrs.

15612 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Karmabhoomi Express will arrive Raigarh at 23.02 hrs and depart at 23.04 hrs.

SPECIAL TRAINS CANCELLED DUE TO POOR TICKET SALE

It has been decided to cancel the following Special Trains notified in this newspapers earlier as not sufficient tickets have been sold.
(1) 25644 / 25643 Kamakhya – Kolkata special train cancelled from Kamakhya on 24-09-2012 and from Kolkata on 25-09-2012.
(2) 25640 / 25639 Guwahati – Howrah special train cancelled from Guwahati on 27-09-2012 and from Howrah on 28-09-2012.
(3) 25653 / 25652 Guwahati – Varanasi special train cancelled from Guwahati on 22-09-2012, 29-09-2012 and from Varanasi on 23-09-2012 and 30-09-2012.
(4) 25903 / 25904 Dibrugarh – Chandigarh special train cancelled from Dibrugarh on 28-09-2012 and from Chandigarh on 30-09-2012..

SCR to revise the Timings of Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi Express

South Central Railway will revise the timings of Train No. 12025 / 12026 Secunderabad-Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi Express with effect from 19th January 2013.

Accordingly, Train No. 12025 Pune-Secunderabad Sathabdi Express will depart Pune at 05 50 hrs), Wadi at 11 30 hrs (instead of 11 40 hrs), Tandur at 12 20 hrs, Vikarabad at 13 00 hrs and Begumpet at 13 45 hrs. and arrive Secunderabad at 14 20 hrs o­n the same day (instead of 14 30 hrs).

In the return direction, Train No. 12026 Secunderabad-Pune Sathabdi Express will depart Secunderabad at 14 45 hrs (instead of 14 55 hrs), Begumpet at 14 55 hrs (instead of 15 05 hrs), Vikarabad at 15 41 hrs (instead of 15 51 hrs), Tandur at 16 11 hrs (instead of 16 21 hrs) and Wadi at 17 25 hrs.and arrive Pune at 23 10 hrs o­n the same day.

Augmentation of coaches

Western Railway has increased coaches in 2 pairs of trains o­n temporary basis for the convenience of the passengers.

Accordingly, o­ne IInd AC Coach will be added in Train No 12940/12939 Jaipur- Pune Jn Exp w.e.f 22nd September, 2012 to 22nd October, 2012.

Similarly, o­ne IInd AC Coach will be added in Train No 12990/12989 Ajmer-Dadar Exp w.e.f 23rd September, 2012 to 22nd October, 2012.

SCR to Run Twelve Special Express Trains For Diwali Festival

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Diwali Festival, South Central Railway will run twelve special Express trains from twin cities to Visakhapatnam, Santragachi and Bangalore. And a special train between Aurangabad and Tirupati will also be run between 5th November and 18thNovember 2012 as per the following schedule.

1. Train No. 07148 Hyderabad- Visakhapatnam Special will depart from Hyderabad at 19 30 hrs o­n 9th and 16thNovember 2012 (Fridays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 08 30 hrs o­n the next day. In return direction, Train No. 07147 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Special will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs o­n 10th and 17thNovember 2012 (Saturdays) and arrive Hyderabad at 08 50 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute, these trains will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet , Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru,Tadepalligudem, Rajamandry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada.

2. Train No. 07128 Hyderabad-Santragachi Special will depart Hyderabad at 21 50 hrs o­n 5th November 2012 (Monday) and arrive Santragachi at 02 50 hrs o­n Wednesday. In the return direction Train No. 07127 Santragachi-Hyderabad Special will depart from Santragachi at 09 30 hrs o­n 7th November 2012 (Wednesday) and arrive Hyderabad at 12 30 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute, these Special Trains will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamundry, Samalkot Jn, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalle, Visakapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.

3.Train No. 07405 Aurangabad- Tirupati Special will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs o­n 9th November 2012 (Friday) and arrive Tiruapti at 19 00 hrs o­n next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07406 Tirupati- Aurangabad Special will depart from Tirupati at 21 15 hrs o­n 10thNovember 2012 (Saturday) and arrive Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs o­n the next day. Entroute these trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Basar, Nizamabad, Kammareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet,Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venketagiri, Sri Khalahasti and Renigunta.

4.Train No. 07685 Kacheguda- Bangalore Special will depart kacheguda at 22 00 hrs o­n 10thand 17th November 2012 (Saturdays) and arrive Bangalore at 12 45 hrs o­n next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07686 Bangalore- Kacheguda Special will depart from Bangalore at 13 45 hrs o­n 11th and 18th November 2012 (Sundays) and arrive Kacheguda at 04 30 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute these trains will stop at Sadhanagar, Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool Town, Dhone, Guntakal, Gooty, Ananthapur, Dharmavaram, Pennukonda, Hindupur, Gowribidannur, Dodballapur, Yelahanka and Bangalore Cantt.

These special trains will comprise of o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to Sixteen Coaches.

SPECIAL TRAINS

 In view to avoid rush in regular trains and to provide better comfort to the commuters in Puja Holidays, Railways have decided to run more special trains towards South through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.

 08635/08636 Hatia-Yesvantpur-Hatia weekly Special train via Sambalpur, Titlagarh & Rayagada will leave Hatia at 09.40hrs o­n every Thursday between 4th October to 29th November 2012 and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 22.00hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Yesvantpur at 08.30hrs o­n every Saturday between 6th October to 1st December 2012 and will arrive at Hatia at 21.30hrs o­n the following days.

 07128/07127 Hyderabad-Santragachhi-Hyderabadweekly Special train via Cuttack, Bhubaneswar & Bhadrakwill leave Hyderabad at 21.50hrs o­n every Monday between 22nd October to 29th October 2012 and will arrive at Santragachhi at 02.50hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Santragachhi at 09.30hrs o­n every Wednesday between 24th October to 31st October 2012 and will arrive at Hyderabad at 12.30hrs o­n the following days.

 08003/08004 Santragachhi-Yesvantpur- SantragachhiSpecial train via Cuttack & Bhubaneswar will leave Santragachhi at 08.45hrs o­n 22nd September 2012 (Saturday) and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 18.00hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Yesvantpur at 20.20hrs o­n 24th September 2012 (Monday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 12.10hrs o­n the following days.

 08509/08510 Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnamweekly Special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.30hrs o­n every Tuesday between 25th September to 25th December 2012 and will arrive at H.S.Nanded at 14.35hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave H.S. Nanded at 16.15hrs o­n every Wednesday between 26th October to 26th December 2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 10.15hrs o­n the following days.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE

 FOR ANANTHAPURI EXPRESS AT VEERANI ALOOR

In connection with ‘Bakrid’ festival, the following trains will be provided temporary stoppage for o­ne minute at Veerani Aloor in Nagercoil – Thiruvananthapuram section.



1.T.No.16723 Chennai Egmore – Thiruvananthapuram Ananthapuri Express leaving Chennai Egmore at 19.35 hrs. o­n 26.10.2012 will leave Veerani Aloor at 09.50 hrs. o­n 27.10.2012.

2.T.No.16724 Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram at 16.10 hrs. o­n 29.10.2012 will leave Veerani Aloor at 17.23 hrs. o­n 29.10.2012.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE AT MADURANTAKAM

The following trains will temporarily stop at Madurantakam o­n an experimental basis for a period of two months as detailed below.

Due to the commissioning of double line in Kondapuram – Tadipatri section of Guntakkal Division of South Central Railway, following will be the pattern of train services between 24.9.2012 - 05.10.2012.

1. T.Nos.17651/17652 Chennai Egmore – Kacheguda- Chennai Egmore express trains will run on diverted route via. Renigunta, Gudur, Vijayawada, Kazipet Jn. from 24.9.2012 to 05.10.2012.
2. T.Nos.16381/16382 Mumbai CST – Kanniyakumari – Mumbai CST express trains will run on diverted route via. Gooty, Dharmavaram and Bangalore City from 24.9.2012 to 05.10.2012.
3. T.No.16351 Mumbai CST – Nagercoil Balaji Express leaving Mumbai CST on 25.9.2012, 29.9.2012 and 2.10.2012 will run on diverted route via. Gooty, Dharmavaram, Pakala, Tirupati and Renigunta.
4. T.No.16352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CST Balaji Express leaving Nagercoil Jn. on 27.9.2012, 30.9.2012 and 4.10.2012 will run on diverted route via.Tirupati, Pakala, Dharmavaram and Gooty.
