AUGMENTATION OF CHETAK & ERNAKULAM- PATNA EXPRESS TRAINS
For the convenience of the rail passengers, Railways has decided to augment the passenger carrying capacity of 2981/2982 Udaipur- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Chetak Express train by One additional General class coach on permanent basis with immediate effect. Also the 6359/76360 Ernakulam Patna Weekly Express train has been augmented by One AC 3 Tier coach on permanent basis with immediate effect. The 6359/6360 Ernakulam Patna Weekly Express train will now consist of One A.C. 2 Tier, One A.C. 3 Tier Tier, Eleven Sleeper class, Four General class, One Second class cum luggage and break van, One Second class cum luggage and break van with Disable friendly coach and one pantry car coaches
EXTENSION OF SPECIAL TRAINS
In order to clear extra rush of rail passengers during Festival season, Northern Railway has decided to extend the run of the following special trains as per the programme:-
The 0403A/0404A Anand Vihar Terminal Jammu Tawi Special Tri-Weekly Express which was scheduled to run upto 30.9.10 has been further extended to run from 2.10.10 to 20.11.10(22 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday & from 3.10.10 upto 21.11.10(22 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi on every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday.
The 0405A/0406A Anand Vihar Terminal Jammu Tawi Special Weekly Express which was scheduled to run upto 26.9.10 has been further extended to run from 3.10.10 to 14.11.10(7 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Sunday & from 4.10.10 upto 15.11.10(7 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi on every Monday.
The 0465/0466 Delhi Jn. - Panipat Special Daily which was scheduled to run upto 30.9.10 has been further extended to run from 1.10.10 to 20.11.10(51 trips).
The 2205A/2206A New Delhi Dehradun Weekly Express which was scheduled to run upto 18.9.10 has been further extended to run from 25.9.10 to 20.11.10(9 trips) when departing from New Delhi on every Saturday & from 26.9. 10 upto 21.11.10( 9 trips)when departing from Dehradun on every Sunday.
The 0429/0430 Lucknow New Delhi Special Daily which was scheduled to run upto 30.9.10 has been further extended to run from 1.10.10 to 20.11.10(51 trips) when departing from Lucknow & from 3.10.10 upto 22.11.10( 51 trips) when departing from New Delhi.
The 0457/0458 Varanasi - Anand Vihar Terminal Daily Express train which was scheduled to run upto 30.9.10 has been further extended to run from 1.10.10 to 20.11.10(51 trips) when departing from Varanasi & from 2.10.10 upto 21.11.109 (51 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal.
SPECIAL TRI-WEEKLY TRAIN BETWEEN
In order to clear extra rush of rail passengers during Festival season, Northern Railway has decided to run one special Tri-Weekly Superfast train no 0403/0404 between Delhi Sarai Rohilla â?? Udhampur as per the programme:
The`0403 Delhi Sarai Rohilla Udhampur Tri-Weekly Superfast train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday from 2.10.10 upto 20.11.10( 22 trips) at 10.15 p.m to reach Udhampur at 8.30 a.m the next day. While in the return direction the 0404 Udhampur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla .Tri-Weekly Superfast train will depart from Udhampur on every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday from 3.10.10 upto 21.11.10 ( 22 trips) at 5.40 p.m to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 4.00a.m the next day. The 0403/0404 Tri-Weekly Superfast train, consisting of One AC 2 Tier, One AC 3 Tier, Ten Sleeper class, Four General class & Two Second cum Luggage and Brake van coaches, will stop at Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana, Chhaki Bank & Jammu Tawi stations enroute in both the directions.
FREQUENCY OF CHETAK EXPRESS INCREASED
For the convenience of rail passengers, railways has decided to increase the frequency of train no. 2982/2981 Udaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Udaipur Chetak Superfast Express from tri weekly to four days in a week. The 2982 Udaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Chetak Superfast Express train w.e.f. 1.8.2010 will depart from Udaipur on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday. While in the return direction the 2981 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Udaipur Chetak Superfast Express train w.e. f. 2.8.2010 will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Monday.
KANWARIA SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN DELHI - HARIDWAR
In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway will run an Unreserved Kanwaria special train between Delhi & Haridwar on 3.8.2010 as per the programme
The Delhi Haridwar Unreserved Kanwaria special train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 9.10 a.m. on 3.8.2010 to arrive at Haridwar at 3.20 p.m. the same day. In the return direction the Haridwar Delhi Unreserved Kanwaria special train will depart from Haridwar at 6.40 p.m. on 3.8.2010 to arrive at Delhi Jn. at 11.40 p.m. the same day. The Delhi Haridwar Kawaria special train will stop at Delhi Shahdara, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Muradnagar, Modinagar, Meerut City, Meerut Cantt., Khatauli, Muzaffarnagar, Devband, Tapri, Roorkie and Jwalapur while in the return direction Haridwar â?? Delhi Kanwaria special train will stop at Jwalapur, Roorkie, Tapri, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut City and Ghaziabad stations enroute.
SUSPENSION OF RAIL TRAFFIC ON QUAZIGUND BARAMULA SECTION
Due to law and order situation and damage to railway track, signalling equipment and station building at and around Sopore Station in J&K valley by agitating mobs, the train services have been suspended on Quazidgund Baramula section with immediate effect till further notice.
CHANGE IN TRAIN NUMBER
The 6503/6504 Yashwantpur Lucknow Express train has been converted into Superfast train with immediate effect. Consequently its number has been revised as 2539/2540.
