Extension of Patna-Bangalore, Jayanagar- Ranchi spl train

The East Central Railway ( ECR ) has decided to extend the run of the Patna-Bangalore City Super Fast special train up to December 10. The railways will run the special train on November 30 and December 7 from Patna Junction while it will leave Bangalore City on December 3 and 10 on its return journey for Patna.

According to ECR CPRO Dilip Kumar, the special train will leave Patna Junction at 7.55 pm on November 30 and December 7 while it will leave Bangalore City at 9.30 am on Decemmbr 3 and 10. The special super fast train will have stoppage at all major stations including Mughalsarai, Satna, Katni , Nagpur and Chennai, he said.

The CPRO said the railways would run the special train with full load combination of AC, sleeper and general bogies to clear rush of passengers who are stranded still in Patna . Besides, keeping in view the fact that a large number of students studying in Bangalore City have been travelling from Patna to Bangalore regularly, extension of the run of the special train would facilitate them a lot , he said adding railways has started booking of tickets for this super fast special train.

Besides, railways would extend the run of Jayanagar- Ranchi special train up to December 6 next month . While it will run from Jayanagar on November 24 , 28 and December 1 and 5 at 8 pm , it will run from Ranchi on its return journey on November 25 , 29 and December 2 and 6 at 8.30 pm , the CPRO said adding this special train will clear rush of passengers between Jayanagar and Ranchi.
