News From South Central Railways


Yeswanthpur-Delhi-Yeswanthpur Duronto Weekly Express 

As announced by Mamata Banerjee, Hon’ble Minister of Railways in the Railway Budget, Train No.12213/12214 Yeswanthpur-Delhi (Sarai Rohilla)-Yeswanthpur weekly Duronto Express will be inaugurated on 19th February, 2011. Regular service of this train ex. Yeswanthpur is from 23rd February 2011 and ex. Delhi (Sarai Rohilla) from 26th February, 2011. The schedule of the train is as follows.

Train No.12213 Yeswanthpur-Delhi (Sarai Rohilla) weekly Duronto Express will depart Yeswanthpur on Saturdays at 23.40 Hrs and arrive Delhi (Sarai Rohilla) at 6.50 Hrs on Monday.

In the return direction, Train No.12214 Delhi (Sarai Rohilla) - Yeswanthpur weekly Duronto Express will depart Delhi (Sarai Rohilla) on Wednesdays at 23.00 Hrs and arrive Yeswanthpur at 07.30 Hrs. on Fridays
The train will comprise of One AC First class, Three AC-2 Tier, nine AC-3 Tier, One Buffet (Pantry) Car, Two Power Car & Luggage cum Brake van coaches totaling to Sixteen.
There will be no stoppages for the Train at any of the stations enroute.


Secunderabad-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) Duronto Bi-Weekly Express

As announced by Mamata Banerjee, Hon’ble Minister of Railways in the Railway Budget, South Central Railway will introduce Train No.12220/12219 Secunderabad–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai)–Secunderabad Bi-weekly Duronto Express with effect from 22nd February, 2011 Ex. Secunderabad and from 23rd February,2011 Ex.Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai).

The schedule of the train is as follows.

Train No.12220 Secunderabad–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) Bi-weekly Duronto Express will depart Secunderabad on Tuesdays and Fridays at 23.05 Hrs., and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus(Mumbai) at 11.05 Hrs. the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.12219 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus(Mumbai)–Secunderabad Bi-weekly Duronto Express will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 23.05 Hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 11.05 Hrs. the next day.
The train will comprise of One AC First class, Two AC-2 Tier, Eight AC-3 Tier, One Buffet (Pantry) Car, Two Power Car & Luggage cum Brake van coaches totaling to Fourteen.
The fare between Secunderabad and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) is Rs. 2155/- for AC First Class, Rs. 1225/- for AC-2 Tier and Rs. 860/- for AC-3 Tier. There will be no stoppages for the Train at any of the stations enroute. Reservations commence from 14.00 hrs today.

Parli-Viajnath-Miraj- Parli-Viajnath Passenger to be introduced on 20th February 2011

Train No.51426/51425 Parli Vaijnath-Miraj- Vaijnath Passenger will be introduced from 20th February ex Parli Vaijnath from 20th February and ex Miraj from 21st February 2011.

Accordingly, Train No.51426 Parli Vaijnath-Miraj will depart Parli Vaijnath at 07.10 hrs and arrive Miraj at 19.10 hrs.In the return direction, Train No.51426 Miraj- Vaijnath Passenger will depart Miraj at 20.30 hrs and arrive ParliVaijnath at 06.00 hrs.

Enroute, this train will stop at Ghatnandur, Murti H., Pangaon, Karepur, Janwal, Wadwal, Nagnath, Latur Road


Introduction Of Howrah-Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Howrah Super Fast Weekly Express

Eastern Railway introduces Howrah-Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam Super Fast Weekly Express train on 19th February, 2011 from Howrah and on 21st February, 2011 from Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam to open path timings. The regular services of this train will commence on 23rd February, 2011 (Wednesday) from Howrah and on 25th February, 2011 (Friday) from Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam.

Accordingly, Train No. 12571 Howrah-Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam Super Fast Express will depart Howrah at 15 50 hrs on Wednesdays and arrive Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam at 22 25 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 12572 Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Howrahsuper fast weekly express will depart Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam at 07 50 hrs on Fridays and arrive Howrah at 15 00 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Kharagpur, Bhubaneshwar, Brahmapur, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Markapur Road, Nandyal, Dhone, Gooty, Anantapur and Dharmavarm. These trains will have eighteen coaches Viz, one AC II Tier, One AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.


Special trains between various destinations passing through SCR jurisdiction

In order to clear extra rush ofpassengers during ensuing summer season, East Coast Railway will run special trains which are passing through South Central Railway jurisdiction from various destinationsas per the following schedule.

1) Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special train (26 services)
Train No. 08565 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad weekly special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 30 hr on Tuesdays from 5th April to 28th June, 2011 and arrive Nizamabad at 11 50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 08566 Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special train will depart Nizamabad at 18 10 hrs on Wednesdays from 6th April, 2011 to 29th June, 2011 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10 15 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these trains will stop at Duvvada, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Viyayawada, Kazipet, Secunderabad and Kamareddi.

2) Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Visakhapatnam weekly special train (26 services)
Train No. 08567 Visakhapatnam- Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 5 30 hrs on Wednesdays from 6th April to 29th June, 2011 and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 11 00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 08568 Sainagar Shirdi – Visakhapatnam weekly special train will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 18 20 hrs on Thursdays from 7th April to 30th June, 2011 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 22 45 hrs onthe next day. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadpalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Bolarum, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopergaon and Puntamba.

3) Puri-Bangalore-Puri weekly Garib Rathspecial train (26 services)
Train No. 08469 Puri-Bangalore weekly Garib RathSpecial train will depart Puri at14 30 hrs on Fridays from1st April to 24th June, 2011 and arrive Bangalore at 22 45 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 08470 Bangalore-Puri weekly Garib Rath Special train will depart Bangalore at23 55 hrs on Saturdays from 2nd April to 25th June, 2011 and arrive Puri at 05 50 hrs on Mondays. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Donakonda, Markapur, Nandyal, Dronachalam, Dharmavaram, SSP Nilayam, Hindupur, Yelahanka and Bangalore Cant.


4)Bhubaneshwar-Tirupati Bhubaneshwar weekly special train (26 Services)
Train No. 08471 Bhubaneshwar-Tirupati weekly special train will depart Bhubaneshwar at 11 45 hrs on Saturdays from 2nd April to 25th June, 2011 and arrive Tirupati at 09 45 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, train no. 08472 Tirupati- Bhubaneshwar weekly special train will departTirupati at 14 00 hrs on Sundays from 3rd April to 26th June, 2011 and arrive Bhubaneshwar at 14 00 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Chipurupalli, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepallegudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudurand Renigunta.

5)Bhubaneshwar-Sainagar Shirdi-Bhubaneshwar weekly special train (26 Services)
Train No. 08465 Bhubaneshwar-Sainagar Shirdi weekly special train will depart Bhubaneshwar at 22 15 hrs on Fridays from 1st April to 24th June, 2011 and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 11 00 hrs on Sundays. In the return direction, train no. 08466 Sainagar Shirdi-Bhubaneshwar weekly special train will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 18 20 hrs on Sundays from 3rd April to 26th June, 2011 and arrive Bhubaneshwar at 05 45 hrs on Tuesdays. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Bolarum, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopergaon, and Puntamba.
