Central Railway will run 8 special trains between Amravati / Khamgaon and Pandharpur to clear the extra rush of pilgrims attending Ashadi fair being held at Pandharpur. The details are as under -
01201/01203 Dn Amravati / Khamgaon - Pandharpur Special will leave Amravati at 14.00 hrs and Khamgaon at 16.20 hrs on 5.7.2011 (Tuesday), 6.7.2011 (Wednesday), 8.7.2011 (Friday) and 9.7.2011 (Saturday) and will reach Pandharpur at 09.05 hrs next day.
01202/01204 Up Pandharpur - Amravati / Khamgaon Special will leave Pandharpur at 16.00 hrs on 6.7.2011 (Wednesday), 7.7.2011 (Thursday), 12.7.2011 (Tuesday) and 13.7.2011 (Wednesday) and will reach Amravati at 10.30 hrs and Khamgaon at 08.40 hrs next day.
Halts : Badnera, Murtizapur, Akola, Shegaon, Jalamb, Nandura, Malkapur, Bodwad, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Nandgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund, Bhigvan, Jeur and Kurduwadi stations in both the directions.
These special trains will run with 18 coaches including 4 Sleeper class, 12 General second class and 2 General second class cum guards brake van. Out of these 18 coaches 9 coaches including 2 sleeper class, 6 general second class (of these 2 will be earmarked for Akola) and 1 general second class cum guards brake van will run Ex Amaravati as 01201 Dn and 9 coaches including 2 sleeper class, 6 general second class and 1 general second class cum guards brake van will run Ex Khamgaon as 01203 Dn. The coaches leaving from / to Khamgaon will be attached / detached at Jalamb station 01201/01202 Amravati-Pandharpur special.
Booking in sleeper class coaches of these specials will be opened from 27.06.2011 at all reservation centres.
