South Western Railway will run special trains between Yeshwantpur and Tiruchirapalli to clear extra rush during Dasara and Deepavali festivals. A press release from South Western Railway, Bangalore Division, said the Yeshwantpur-Tiruchirapalli weekly express special (06521) will leave Yeshwantpur at 11.55 p.m. on Saturdays and reach Tiruchirapalli at 10 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the Tiruchirapalli-Yeshwantpur weekly express special (06522) will leave Tiruchirapalli at 12.30 p.m. on Sundays and reach Yeshwantpur at 10 p.m. the same day. The first service from Yeshwantpur will leave on October 13 and the last will be on December 1.
The first service from Tiruchirapalli will be on October 14 and the last will be on December 2. The train will run from Yeshwantpur via Hebbal, Banaswadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Kodumudi, Pugalur, Karur and Kulitalai to reach Tiruchirapalli.
