With a view to avoiding rush in regular trains and to provide comfortable journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to increase the composition of Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express permanently with immediate effect.
18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar & Sambalpur will be augmented with one AC 3 Tier Coach permanently with immediate effect from both the directions. Now the train will run with one AC-2 tier coach, Two AC-3 tier Coaches, 10 Sleeper Class Coaches, Five General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and one Pantry Car in it’s composition.
Similarly, 12807 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Samata Express via Rayagada & Titlagarh will also be augmented with one AC 3 Tier Coach permanently with immediate effect from both the directions. Now the train will run with one AC-2 tier coach, Two AC-3 tier Coaches, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and one Pantry Car in it’s composition.
Apart from this, Railways have also decided to augment one AC-3 tier coach each permanently in 18509/18510 Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnam Express and Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express with immediate effect.
