WR INCREASES FREQUENCY FROM BI-WEEKLY TO TRI-WEEKLY

Western Railway has decided to increase the frequency from Bi-weekly to Tri-weekly & also extend the trips of 09417/09418 Ahmedabad- Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Ahmedabad Premium A.C “Superfast” special train with revised halt, composition & timings upto 31st May, 2014.

Train No. 09417 Ahmedabad-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Tri-weekly AC Premium Superfast Special train departing from Ahmedabad at 16.10 hrs o­n every Friday, Sunday & Tuesday and reaching Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 06.50 hrs. o­n next day. This train is extended from 02nd May, 2014 to 30thMay, 2014.

Similarly, Train No. 09418 Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Ahmedabad Tri-Weekly AC Premium Superfast Special train departing from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 16.15 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday and reaching Ahmedabad at 07.00 hrs o­n next day. This train is extended from 03rdMay, 2014 to 31st May, 2014.

The train will halt at Palanpur, Ajmer and Jaipur stations in both directions.

The train will have AC II Tier and AC III Tier Coaches and pantry car.

No waitlisted tickets shall be issued. There will be no refund except when the train is fully cancelled o­n railway account due to unforeseen circumstances or due to severe disturbances affecting operations. Adult fare shall be charged for all passengers irrespective of their age. No concession shall be applicable to this train.

The booking of these trains will be available o­nly through Internet. The booking of train no. 09417 departing Ahmedabad o­n 02nd May, 04th May and 06th May, 2014 shall be available from 23rd April, 2014 o­nly through internet, that is IRCTC’s portal and not through the counters at reservation centres. Booking of rest of the trips may be open with Advance Reservation Period of Maximum 15 days. The passengers are required to carry the prescribed original photo identity card which is used at the time of booking. The fares applicable for each day/transaction shall be indicated at the time of booking o­n the IRCTC’s e-ticketing website.

The advance reservation period will be shorter, that is a maximum of 15 days. The fare is also likely to increase depending o­n the demand intensity.

Only e-tickets will be permitted for booking.
