THREE WEEKLY SUPER FAST EXPRESS TRAINS

Railways decided to introduce the following three weekly super-fast express trains –

1.Bhubaneswar – Tirupati – Bhubaneswar [Train No. 22871 / 22872]

Train No.22871 will leave Bhubaneswaron Saturdays with effect from 14.07.2012 at 12.00 noon.It will reach Visakhapatnamat 07.00 p.m. leaves at 07.20 p.m. o­n Saturday, and reaches Tirupati at 08.25 a.m. o­n Sunday.Train No.22872 will leave Tirupation Sundays with effect from 15.07.2012 at 01.00 p.m, will reach Visakhapatnamon Monday at 02.00 a.m(night), leaves at 02.20 a.m and reaches Bhubaneswar the same day at 10.10 a.m.Enroute this pair stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, o­ngole, Nellore andGudur.

2.Visakhapatnam – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) -Visakhapatnam [Train No.22847 / 22848 via Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Raipur, Nagpur].


Train No.22847 will leave Visakhapatnam o­n Sundays with effect from 15.07.2012 at 08.30 a.m.It will reach LTT–Mumbai o­n Monday at 01.35 p.m.In the return direction, Train no.22848 will leave LTT-Mumbai o­n Tuesdays with effect from 17.07.2012 at 12.15 a.m (midnight) and will reach Visakhapatnam o­n Wednesday at 05.30 a.m. Enroute this pair stop at Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarah, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Manmad, Nasik Road and Kalyan.

3.Puri–Yesvantpur–PuriGaribrath Super-fast express [Train No.22883 / 22884 via Visakhapatnam, Vijyawada, Guntur, Anantapur, Dharmavaram]

Train No.22883 will leave Puri o­n Fridays with effect from 20.07.2012 at 02.45 p.m., will reach Visakhapatnam the same day at 10.35 p.m., leaves at 10.55 p.m. and will reach Yeswantpur o­n Saturday at 08.00 p.m.In the return direction Train No.22884 will leave Yeswantpur o­n Saturday at 10.40 p.m.(night), will reach Visakhapatnam on Sunday at 10.20 p.m leaves at 10.40 p.m and will reach Puri o­n Monday at 05.55 a.m.Enroute, this pair stop at Khurda Road, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur,Narasaraopet, Donakonda, Markarpur Road, Nandayal, Dhone, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, and Yelahanka.

WESTERN RAILWAY INTRODUCES NEW TRAINS FOR BIKANER, DELHI, JODHPUR

For the convenience of passengers, WR will introduce new trains between Bandra (T) – Bikaner, Bandra (T) – Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Valsad-Jodhpur.

·Bandra (T)–Bikaner Weekly Superfast Express (From 17/7/12 Ex Bandra (T))

Train No.22474 Bandra (T) - Bikaner Weekly Superfast Express will leave Bandra (T) at 14.35 hrs o­n every Tuesday from 17th July, 2012 and reach Bikaner at 12.35 hrs, the next day.Similarly, in return direction Train No. 22473 Bikaner – Bandra (T) Weekly Superfast Express will leave Bikaner at 14.55 hrs o­n every Monday from 23rd July, 2012 and reach Bandra (T) at 12.45 hrs, the next day.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches. The train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mehesana Jn., Unjha, Sidhpur, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar Jn., Pali Marwar, Luni, Jodhpur, Merta Rd., Nagaur and Nokha  stations in both directions.


·Bandra (T)-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express (From 18/7/12 Ex Bandra (T))


Train No. 19029   Bandra (T)-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express will leave Bandra (T) at 12.25 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 18th July, 2012 to reach Delhi  Sarai  Rohilla   at 13.20  hrs the next day. Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 19030  Delhi Sarai Rohilla  -Bandra (T) (Weekly) Express will leave Delhi Sarai Rohilla  at 15.50  hrs o­n every Thursday  from 19th July, 2012 and arrive Bandra (T) at 17.10  hrs, the next day. The train will comprise of AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches. The train enroute will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahemdabad, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna, Rani, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Phulera, Ringas, Shri Madhopur, Nim ka Thana, Narnaul, Rewari, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt stations in both directions.

·Valsad - Jodhpur Weekly Express (From 24/7/12 Ex Valsad)

Train No.19055 Valsad - Jodhpur Weekly Express will leave Valsad at 22.40 hrs o­n every Tuesday from 24th July, 2012 and reach Jodhpur at 14.45 hrs, the next day. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 19056 Jodhpur - Valsad Weekly Express will leave Jodhpur at 16.30 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 25th July, 2012 and reach Valsad at 09.25 hrs, the next day. The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general accommodation. The train will halt at Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Mahesana Jn., Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna Marwar Jn., Pali Marwar and Luni stations in both directions.

The Booking for Train No.22474, 19029 and 19055 will start from 15th July, 2012.

Bodhan-Nizamabad Passenger Extended to Kamareddi

South Central Railway will extend the run of Train No. 57502/57503 Bodhan-Nizamabad-Bodhan Passenger Train up to Kamareddi with effect from 13th July 2012.

The Train will be flagged off by Shri Suresh Kumar Shetkar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Zahirabad) o­n 13th July 2012 at 11 30 hrs from Kamareddi Railway Station along with Shri Gampa Govardhan,Hon’ble MLA and other dignitaries.

On its inaugural run Train No:-57503 Kamareddi – Bodhan passenger Train will depart Kamareddi at 11 30 hrs and arrive at Bodhan at 13 30 hrs o­n the same day.

This Train will resume its regular run from 14th July 2012. Accordingly o­n its regular  run, Train No:-57502 Bodhan-Kamareddi Passenger Train will depart Bodhan at 07 45 hrs, Gandhipark at 07 48 hrs, Shakarnagar at 0 7 51 hrs, Yadapalli at 08 04 hrs, Janakampet at 08 20 hrs, Nizamabad at 09 05 hrs, Dichpalli 09 20 hrs, Indalvai 09 28 hrs, Sirnapalli 09 38 hrs, Uppalvai 09 50 hrs and arrive at Kamareddi at 10 30 hrs o­n the same day.

In the Return direction Train No: 57503 Kamareddi – Bodhan Passenger Train will depart Kamareddi at 16 30 hrs, Uppalavai at 16 41 hrs, Sirnapalli 16 52 hrs, Indalvai 17 04 hrs, Dichpalli at 17 20 hrs, Nizamabad at 17 55 hrs, Janakampet at 18 35 hrs, Yadapalli at 18 57 hrs, Shakarnagar at 19 10 hrs, Gandhipark at 19 15 hrs and arrive Bodhan at 19 25 hrs o­n the same day.

Salient Features of Central Railways New Timetable 2012-12

Central Railway has planned to introduce following Mail Express / Passenger trains during the year 2012-2013. The date of introduction will be notified later. The details are as under:

1. SAINAGAR SHIRDI – PANDHAPUR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS

Train No. 11001 Sainagar Shirdi – Pandhapur Tri-weekly Express train will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 05.00 hours o­n every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday which will arrive at Pandharpur at 12.15 hours same day.    
Train No. 11002 Pandharpur – Sainagar Shirdi Tri-weekly Express train will leave Pandharpur at 13.20 hours o­n every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday which will arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 20.30 hours same day.

Train No. 11406 Amravati – Pune Bi-weekly Express will leave Amravati at 18.30 hours o­n every Monday and Saturday which will arrive at Pune at 13.15 hours next day.

Train No. 12520 Kamakhya – LTT Weekly Super Fast Express will leave Kamakhya at 20.50 hours o­n every Thursday which will arrive at LTT at 17.50 hours o­n third day.

Train No. 12772 Nagpur - Secunderabad Tri-weekly Super fast Express will leave Nagpur at 22.00 hours o­n every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday which will arrive at Secunderabad at 08.25 hours next day.

Train No. 22630 Tirunelveli-Dadar Weekly Super Fast Express will leave Tirunelveli at 07.10 hours o­n every Wednesday which will arrive at Dadar at 15.10 hours next day.

Train No. 22802 Sainagar Shirdi – Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 19.10 hrs o­n every Friday and will arrive Visakhapatnam at 22.15 hrs next day.

Train No. 22848 LTT-Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave LTT at 00.15 hours o­n every Tuesday (mid-night of Monday/Tuesday) which will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 05.30 hours next day.

Train No. 51437 Kurduwadi-Miraj passenger will leave Kurduwadi daily at 06.05 hours which will arrive at Miraj at 10.35 hours same day.
Train No. 51438 Miraj – Kurduwadi passenger will leave Miraj daily at 11.50 hours which will arrive at Kurduwadi at 16.25 hours same day.

Composition: 9 General second class and 2 General second class cum guards brake vans
Halt: Will halt at all station enroute.

Increase in frequency:


Central Railway has planned to increase the frequency of following trains during the year 2012-13.

1. 17003/17004 Hyderabad – Shri chhatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) Express from Bi-weekly to Daily from the date to be notified later.



2.16535 Golgumbaz Express presently running as Triweekly will run daily from Yashvantpur w.e.f 11.7.2012.16536 Golgumbaz Express presently running as Triweekly will run daily from Solapur w.e.f. 12.7.2012.



CHANGE IN DAYS OF SERVICES:



1. 11035/11036 Dadar- Mysore Sharavati Express – Consequent to the extension of Dadar – Yesvantpur Chalukya Express the day of 11035/11036 Dadar – Mysore Sharavati Express will be changed from the date to be notified later. 
The details are as under –  
Train No. 11035 Dadar – Mysore Sharavati Express will leave Dadar o­n every Thursday instead of Tuesday. Train No. 11036 Mysore – Dadar Sharavati Express will leave Mysore o­n every Sunday instead of Thursday. 
There will be no change in timing, path and halts of the train.


Extension of Trains:

  1. EXTENSION OF 11026/11025 PUNE – MANMAD EXPRESS UPTO BHUSAVAL –  

The train No. 11026 leaving Pune extended upto Bhusaval w.e.f. 1.7.2012 and the train No. 11025
extended to leave Bhusaval w.e.f. 2.7.2012. The details are as under – Train No. 11026 will leave 
Pune at 11.45 hrs (instead of 12.50 hrs) which will arrive Bhusaval at 22.10 hrs same day. Train No. 11025 will leave Bhusawal at 00.25 hrs and arrive Pune at 12.05 hrs same day. There is no change in the timings from Manmad to Pune. 
Halts : With the extension the train has provided halt at Chauk, Mohope, Chikhale, Chalisgaon, Pachora (on experimental basis for the period of six months) and Jalgaon (on permanent basis).     


2. EXTENSION OF 11017 / 11018 DADAR – YESVANTPUR CHALUKYA EXPRESS      

Train No. 11017 / 11018 Dadar – Yesvantpur Chalukya Express (6 days in a week) will be extended to
Puducherri for 3 days to run as 11005/11006 Dadar – Puducherri Tri-weekly Express and for remaining three days will be extended to Tirunelveli to run as 11021/11022 Dadar – Tirunelvelli Tri-weekly Express from the date to be notified later. The details are as under-  

2.1) 11005/11006 DADAR – PUDUCHERRI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS

Train No. 11005 will leave Dadar o­n every Sunday, Monday and Saturday at 21.30 hrs and arrive Puducherri at 10.00 hrs o­n third day. Train No. 11006 will leave Puducherri o­n every Tuesday, Wednesday and Monday at 17.00 hrs and arrive Dadar at 05.50 hrs o­n third day.  

2.2) 11021/11022 DADAR – TIRUNELVELI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS

Train No. 11021 will leave Dadar o­n every Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 21.30 hrs and arrive
Tirunelveli at 12.40 o­n third day. Train No. 11022 will leave Tirunelveli o­n every Sunday, Thursday and Friday at 14.00 hrs and arrive Dadar at 05.50 hrs o­n third day. 


Shifting of Terminals :


1. 12167/12168 Dadar – Varanasi Super Fast Express will leave from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 8.10.2012 and leaving Varanasi w.e.f. 8.10.2012 will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (instead of Dadar).  

2. 11057/11058 Dadar – Amritsar Express will leave from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 22.10.2012 and leaving Amritsar w.e.f. 20.10.2012 will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (instead of Dadar)

3. 12051/12052 Mumbai CST – Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express will leave from Dadar w.e.f. 1.11.2012 and leaving Madgaon w.e.f. 31.10.2011 will arrive at Dadar (instead of Mumbai CST).  

4. 12071/12072 Mumbai CST – Aurangabad Jan Shatabdi Express will leave from Dadar w.e.f. 1.11.2012 and leaving Aurangabad w.e.f. 31.10.2012 will arrive at Dadar (instead of Mumbai CST).

WR INTRODUCES NEW BANDRA (T)-GANDHIDHAM WEEKLY EXPRESS

For the convenience of passengers, Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce a new weekly express train no. 19451/19452 between Bandra (T) and Gandhidham stations.

Inaugural run of Train No 09452 Gandhidham - Bandra (T)Weekly Express will be on 12th July, 2012 from Gandhidham at 11.30 hrs to reach Bandra (T) at 4.05 hrsnext day, while in return trip inaugural train no 09451 Bandra (T) - Gandhidham will start from Bandra (T) on 13th July at 5.10 hrs to reach Gandhidham at 21.25 hrs same day.

Thereafter, on its regular run from 19th July 2012, Train No. 19451 Bandra (T)-Gandhidham Weekly Express will depart from Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs on every Thursday and reach Gandhidham at 17.20 hrs. on Friday while in return journey 19452 Gandhidham-Bandra (T) weekly Express will start from Gandhidham at 6.30 hrs on every Thursday from 19th July, 2012 and arrive Bandra (T) at 22.25 hrs next day

This train will halt at Bhachau, Samakhiali Jn, Maliya Miyana Jn, Morbi, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Valsad, Vapi and Borivali stations in both directions.

The train will have AC II, AC III, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

Booking for inaugural Trains No 09451/09452 opens on 11th July, 2012 and for regular run of 19451/19452 opens on 14th July, 2012.

Augmentation of Trains for Tatkal Waitlisted Passengers

Railways have decided to augment the following Mail Express trains by attaching extra coaches for Tatkal waitlisted passengers with effect from the date mentioned till further advice. The details are as under-

1. 12051/12052 Mumbai - Madgaon Janshatabdi Express with o­ne second class chair car w.ef. 16.7.2012 Ex Mumbai and w.e.f. 17.7.2012 Ex Madgaon.

2. 12071/12072 Mumbai - Aurangabad Janshatabdi Express with o­ne second class chair car w.e.f. 16.7.2012 Ex Mumbai and w.e.f. 17.7.2012 Ex Aurangabad.

3. 11007/11008 Mumbai - Pune Deccan Express with o­ne Second class chair car w.e.f. 16.7.2012 Ex Mumbai and Pune.

4. 12113/12114 Nagpur - Pune Garibrath Express with o­ne AC 3-tier coach w.e.f. 17.7.2012 Ex Nagpur and w.e.f. 18.7.2012 Ex Pune.

5. 12135/12136 Nagpur - Pune Express with two sleeper class w.e.f. 18.7.2012 Ex Nagpur and w.e.f. 19.7.2012 Ex Pune.

6. 12105/12106 Mumbai - Gondia Vidarbh Express with o­ne AC 3-tier coach w.e.f. 16.7.2012 Ex Mumbai and w.e.f. 17.7.2012 Ex Gondia.

7. 12139/12140 Mumbai - Nagpur Sewagram Express with o­ne AC 3-tier coach and o­ne Sleeper Class (total 2) w.e.f. 16.7.2012 Ex Mumbai and w.e.f. 17.7.2012 Ex Nagpur.

Railways will also augment the following Express train by attaching extra coaches for Tatkal waitlisted passengers.

12289/12290 CST Mumbai-Nagpur Duranto Express with o­ne AC-2 Tier cum AC-3 Tier w.e.f. 11.7.2012 to 26.7.2012 (except 13 and 20.7.2012) from CST and w.e.f. 12.7.2012 to 27.7.2012 from Nagpur

It has also been decided to augment the following Express train with immediate effect for the period mentioned -

12750/12749 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Visakhapatnam Express with o­ne sleeper class and o­ne First class upto 29.7.2012 Ex LTT and upto 28.7.2012 Ex Visakhapatnam.  

NEW TRI-WEEKLY AC DURONTO EXPRESS

As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a tri-weekly AC Duronto express train between Visakhapatnam & Secunderabad and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new train between Visakhapatnam & Secunderabad w.e.f. from 11th July 2012.

On the inaugural run, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam tri-weekly AC Duronto Express will be inaugurated from Secunderabad Station and will run as a special train o­n open fast times towards Visakhapatnam. However, the regular service of 22203/22204Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-VisakhapatnamAC Duronto Express will commence from Visakhapatnam w.e.f. 12th July 2012 & from Secunderabad w.e.f. 14th July’2012.

22203 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad tri-weekly AC Duronto Superfast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 22.30hrson every Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday and will arrive at Secunderabad at 08.00hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, 22204 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Duronto Superfast Express will leave Secunderabadat 20.30hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 06.05hrs o­n the following days.

          This train has o­ne AC First Class, Three AC-2 tier, Nine AC-3 tier and Two Guard cum Generator Vans in its composition.

EXTENSION OF SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS

Railways have decided to extend the run of Summer Special trains no. 09722/09721 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur special train and 09742/09741 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Rewari special train from 11.07.2012 to 15.07.2012 (5 trips each). The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

The run of 09640/09639 Ajmer- Haridwar- Ajmer express train will be extended on 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st & 23rd July,2012 (6 trips) when departing from Ajmer and on 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd & 24th July, 2012(6 trips) when departing from Haridwar. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

Charvattur-Mangalore train timings revised

Southern Railway has revised the timings of Charvattur-Mangalore Passenger train no. 56661. The new timings will come into effect from July 13.

The train will leave Charvattur at 6.50 a.m. against the previous departure of 7 a.m. and reach Mangalore at 8.45 a.m. (9.05 a.m.).

Following are the new timings of the train at different stations: 

Nileshwar 6.58 a.m. (7.09 a.m.), 

Kanhangad 7.09 a.m. (7.21 a.m.), 

Bekal Fort 7.18 a.m. (7.30 a.m.), 

Kottikulam 7.24 a.m. (7.37 a.m.), 

Kasaragod 7.39 a.m. (7.53 a.m.), 

Kumbla 7.50 a.m. (8.05 a.m.), 

Uppala 7.58 a.m. (8.13 a.m.), Manjeshwar 8.06 a.m. (8.22 a.m.), Ullal 8.15 a.m. (8.31 a.m.) and Thokkottu 8.21 a.m. (8.37 a.m.)

Timings of Hyderabad-Gulbarga Passenger Revised

The Timings of Train No. 57156 Hyderabad-Gulbarga Passenger train will be revised with effect from 11th July, 2012 for the convenience of the commuters.

Accordingly, Train No. 57156 Hyderabad-Gulbarga Passenger will depart Hyderabad at 17 25 hrs instead of 16 30 hrs and arrive Wadi at 21 30 hrs as at present. Enrote, this train will depart Khairatabad at 17 31 hrs, Begumpet at 17 39 hrs,Sanatnagar at 17 47 hrs, Hafizpet at 17 59 hrs, Lingampalli at 18 07 hrs, Nagalapalli at 18 17 hrs, Shankarpalli at 18 28 hrs, Ravalapallikalan at 18 34 hrs, Gullaguda at 18 40 hrs, Chittigadda at 18 48 hrs, Vikarabad at 19 00 hrs, Godamgura at 19 08 hrs, Mailaram at 19 16 hrs, Dharur at 19 22 hrs, Rukmapur at 19 33 hrs, Tandur at 19 50 hrs, Mantatti at 19 57 hrs, Nawandgi at 20 06 hrs,Kurgunta at 20 16 hrs, Seram at 20 26 hrs, Malkaid Road at 20 36 hrs, Chittapur at20 45 hrs and Sulehalli at 20 52 hrs.

There will be no change in the timings of this train between Wadi and Gulbarga

Hon’ble Chief Minister of AP to inaugurate Four New Express Trains

Shri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will inaugurate the following four new Express Trains from Secunderabad/Hyderabad Railway Stations at 11.00 hrs o­n 11th July 2012 at Platform No. 10 of Secunderabad Railway Station (Bhoiguda side) in the august presence of Shri K.H.Muniyappa, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways.

2.Tr. No. 17007 Secunderabad - Darbhanga Express (Bi-weekly)

Other Hon’ble Public Representatives concerned, other dignitaries and Senior Railway Officials will participate in the inaugural function.

Secunderabad-Porbander Weekly Express from 11th July

Secunderabad-Porbander-Secunderabad Weekly Express, which was announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13,has been introduced by Western Railway o­n 09th July 2012.


Accordingly Tr. No. 19201 Secunderabad-Porbander Weekly Express will depart Secunderabad at 15 00 hrs o­n Wednesdays and arrive Porbander at 00.10 hrs o­n Fridays. In the return direction,Tr. No 19202 Porbander-Secunderabad Weekly Express will depart Porbander at 23.55 hrs o­n Mondays and arrive Secunderabad at 10.30 hrs o­n Wednesdays.


Enroute, these trains will stop at Begumpet, Tandur, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Daund, Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Bhivandi Road, Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar and Wansjaliya in both the directions.

This train will comprise of 14 coaches, viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, three General Second Class, two Second Class Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

WR INTRODUCES HAPA-MADGAON SUPERFAST WEEKLY EXPRESS

For the convenience of passengers, Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce a new weekly superfast train 22908/22907 between Hapa and Madgaon via Vasai Road station.

Inaugural run of Train No 02908 Hapa –Madgaon Weekly superfast Express will be on 11th July 2012 from Hapa at 16.10 hrs to reach Madgaon at 21.35 hrs next day, while in return trip the train no 02907 Madgaon- Hapa will start from Madgaon on 13th July at 7.15 hrs to reach at 10.20 hrs next day.
Thereafter, on its regular run from 19th July 2012, Train No. 22908 Hapa - Madgaon Weekly Superfast Express will depart from Hapa at 2.40 hrs on every Thursday and reach Madgaon at 6.30hrs. on Friday while in return journey 22907 will start from Madgaon at 7.15 hrs on every Friday and arrive Hapa at 10.20hrs next day

This train will halt at Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kudal and Thivim stations in both directions.

The train will have AC III, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

On the Inaugural run Train No 02908 Hapa –Madgaon Weekly superfast Express will reach Vasai Road on Thursday at 6.15hrs, while in return direction train no 02907 Madgaon- Hapa train will reach Vasai Road on Friday at 21.00hrs.
Similarly, the train during its regular run will reach Vasai Road every Thursday at 16.25 hrs while on its regular return journey Train No.22907 will reach Vasai on Friday at 21.00 hrs.


Booking for inaugural run of Train No 02908 opens on 10th July 2012 and for regular run of 22908 opens on 12th July 2012.

Diversion of Pune-Mumbai-Pune Pragati Express via Karjat-Panvel-Diva

Central Railway has decided to run Train No. 12126/12125 Pune – Mumbai - Pune Pragati Express o­n diverted route via Diva – Panvel –Karjat o­n a Trail Basis for a period of 9 days from 7.7.2012 (Saturday) to 15.7.2012 (Sunday).

Introduction of Sainagar Shirdi-Mysore Weekly Express from 10.7.2012

Railways have decided to introduce a new Weekly Express train between Sainagar Shirdi & Mysore via Daund, Solapur, Bijapur, Guntakal, Bangalore.

The details are as under:

16217 Mysore – Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Express will leave Mysore o­n every Monday at 05.30 hrs with effect from 09.07.2012 and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 11.30 hrs next day i.e. Tuesday.

16218 Sainagar Shirdi – Mysore Weekly Express will leave Sainagar Shirdi o­n every Tuesday at 23.55 hrs with effect from 10.07.2012 and arrive Mysore at 06.55 hrs o­n third day i.e. Thursday.

Halts: Puntamba, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund, Kurduwadi, Solapur, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Gadag Jn, Koppal, Hospet, Bellary Jn, Guntakal Jn, Anantpur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelanhanka, Bangalore Cantt., Bangalore City, Kengeri and Mandya.

Composition: Two AC Two Tier, Two AC Three Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class, Two General Second Class cum Guards Break Van. Total 21 Coaches.
