Special Trains Between Hyderabad – Kolhapur

In view of heavy rush of traffic, South Central Railway will run ten special trains betweenHyderabad – Kolhapur – Hyderabad as per the following schedule.

Accordingly Train No. 07143 Hyderabad – Kolhapur (CSMT) Special train will depart Hyderabad at 23.10 hrs on 07th, 8th, 9th,11th and 12th Aug 2012 and arriveKolhapur CSMT at 22.45 hrs the next day.

In the return journey, Train No. 07144 Kolhapur (CSMT) – Hyderabad Special train will depart Kolhapur at 07.30 hrs o­n 09th, 10th, 11th, 13th and 14th Aug 2012 and arrive Hyderabad at 06.45hrs the next day..

Enroute, these special trains will stops at Begumpet,
Sanatnagar, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Nawandgi, Kurgunta,Seram, Malkhaid Road, Chittapur, Nalwar, Yadgir, Narayanpet Road, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralaya Rd, Adoni, Guntakal, Bellary, Tornagallu, Hospet, Koppal, Gadag, Hubli Jn, Dharwad, Londa, Belgaum, Ghatprabha, Raybag, Kudachi, Miraj and Hatkanangale stations in both the directions.

These special trains will comprise of o­ne AC 2 Tier, o­ne AC 3 Tier, Seven Sleeper Class and Two Second Class Luggagecum Brake van and Four General second Class sitting totaling to Fifteen coaches in all.

Western Railway has augmented 1 coach each in 6 pairs of trains o­n temporary basis for the convenience of passengers.

ADDITIONAL HALTS

For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to provide stoppage to 19027/19028 Bandra (T) – Jammu Express at Ladnu station with immediate effect. Accordingly train no 19027 Bandra(T) -Jammu Express will arrive Ladnu station at 08.00hrs and leave at 08.03hrs, while 19028 Jammu- Bandra (T) express will reach Ladnu station at 23.28hrs and depart at 23.31hrs.



Also 12945/12946 Surat – Chhapra Express has been given halt at Muhammadabad and Rasra stations from 01stAugust, 2012. Accordingly

Train No.12945 Surat – Chhapra Express will arrive Muhammedabad at 14.25 hrs and leave at 14.27 hrs. It will reach Rasra at 15.35 hrs to depart at 15.37 hrs. In return direction, Train No.12946 will reach Rasra at 11.00 hrs and Muhammedabad at 12.13 hrs.



These stoppages have been given o­n experimental basis.

SCR Releases MMTS-Cum-Local Trains Pocket Time Table

South Central Railway has released “MMTS-Cum-Local Trains Pocket Time Table-July 2012 Issue” for the benefit of travelling public. An attractive multi-colour booklet of pocket size, this time table will serve as a ready reference travel guide to commuters / passengers as they can carry it along conveniently with them.

This time table contains schedules of MMTS services on Umdanagar-Secunderabad-Lingampalli; Falaknuma-Secunderabad-Hyderabad; Hyderabad-Lingampalli Sections and schedules of Local Trains o­n Secunderabad-Manoharabad and Manoharabad-Secuderabad / Hyderabad / Kacheguda / Falaknuma Sections.


The number of MMTS Train services increased from 98 to121 and so did the MMTS commuter traffic from 1.20 lakhs to 1.60 lakhs o­n an average per day during the last financial year. Similarly, the demand for MMTS-Cum-Local Trains Pocket Time Table has also gone up. Hence, South Central Railway has printed copies this pocket time table for sale through BookingCounters.This time table is priced at a nominal price of Rs. 5/- o­nly.


Apart from sectional Time Tables, this Pocket Time Table contains other useful information such as MMTS & Local Trains System Map, fare table, list of colonies near to each MMTS Station, tips for happy journey & safe crossing of railway track, details o­n SMS based Passenger Complaints & Suggestion System, how to use ATVM to purchase ticket for MMTS and ordinary Passenger trains etc.

In connection with the Adi-Krithigai Festival at Tiruttani on 10.08.2012, the following special trains will be run between Arakkonam – Tiruttani – Arakkonam and Arakkonam – Renigunta – Arakkonam from 09.08.2012 to 11.08.2012:

Central Railway has decided to run 38 daily reserved special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus - Madgaon and 22 unreserved special trains every alternate day between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Madgaon to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Ganapati Festival. The details are as under -



A) MUMBAI - MADGAON - MUMBAI DAILY SPECIALS (RESERVED)


01013 Dn Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 00.20 hrs from 15.9.2012 (midnight of 14/15.9.2012) to 3.10.2012 (19 trips) and will reach Madgaon at 14.10 hrs same day.
01014 Up Special will leave Madgaon at 14.40 hrs from 15.9.2012 to 3.10.2012 (19 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 05.15 hrs next day.

AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Railways have decided to augment the following trains as per the following programme:-

Temporary Augmentation of Trains:-

The 15011/15012 Lucknow- Chandigarh- Lucknow Express train will be augmented by One Additional Sleeper class coach from 01.08.2012 to 30.11.2012 when departing from Lucknow and from 02.08.2012 to 01.12.2012 when departing from Chandigarh.

The 25013/25014 Ramnagar- Delhi Jn.- Ramnagar Corbett Park Link Express train will be augmented by One Additional A.C. 2 Tier cum A.C. 3 Tier coach from 01.08.2012 to 30.09.2012 when departingfrom Ramnagar and from 02.08.2012 to 01.10.2012 when departing from Delhi Jn..

Permanent Augmentation of Trains:-

The 12953/12954 Mumbai Central- Hazrat Nizamuddin- Mumbai Central August Kranti Rajdhani Express will be augmented by One Additional AC 3 tier coach from 01.08.2012 when departing from Mumbai Central and from 02.08.2012 when departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin. The revised composition of the train comprises 18 coaches.

The 12919/12920 Indore- Jammu Tawi- Indore Malwa Express will be augmented by One Additional AC 3 tier & One Additional Sleeper Class coaches from 01.08.2012 when departing from Indore and from 03.08.2012 when departing from Jammu Tawi. The revised composition of the train comprises 21 coaches.

The 19023/19024 Mumbai Central- Firozpur- Mumbai Central Express will be augmented by One Additional Sleeper Class coach from 01.08.2012 when departing from Mumbai Central and from 03.08.2012 when departing from Firozpur. The revised composition of the train comprises 15 coaches.

The 19051/19052 Valsad- Sonepur- Valsad Shramik Express will be augmented by One Additional Sleeper Class coach from 04.08.2012 when departing from Valsad and from 06.08.2012 when departing from Sonepur. The revised composition of the train comprises 21 coaches.

Central Railway will run 6 Specials between Mumbai - Velankanni to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Velankanni Festival. The details are as under -

1. Train No. 01041 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs o­n 25.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01042 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 27.8.2012 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs o­n third day.

2. Train No. 01043 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs o­n 26.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01044 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 28.8.2012 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs o­n third day.

Composition:       o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper class, 2 General Second class and 2 General second class cum guard's brake vans.

Train No. 01046 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 29.8.2012 and will arrive Dadar (T) at 10.00 hrs o­n third day.
