Trains Rescheduled due to Block works on Krishna Canal – Guntur Section

On account of Block works concerning maintenance between Krishna Canal – Mangalagiri – Namburu on Krishna Canal - Guntur Section of South Central Railway, the following train services are rescheduled during a period of 60 days (thrice a Week) with effect from 2nd March, 2014 as detailed below:-
Rescheduled 
Train No. 57382 Narasapur–Guntur Passenger is rescheduled to depart Vijayawada at 11:40 hrs instead of 10:40 hrs from 2nd March, 2014 on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Train No. 57328 Guntur – Dhone Passenger is rescheduled to depart Guntur at 12:55 hrs instead of 12:10 hrs from 2nd March, 2014 on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Chennai Central–Madurai-Chennai Central Duronto to run in Salem-Namakkal-Karur section

Train No. 22605/22206 Chennai Central–Madurai-Chennai Central Duronto AC biweekly express would run on the newly-laid Salem-Namakkal-Karur section with effect from Monday from Chennai Central and from Tuesday from Madurai.

Train No. 22205 Chennai Central- Madurai express would leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and reach Madurai at 7 a.m. the next day. Train No. 22606 Madurai-Chennai Central express would leave Madurai at 10.40 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and reach Chennai Central at 7.10 a.m. the next day, a statement said.

Schedule revised

South Western Railway has revised the schedule of Yeshwantpur-Solapur-Yeshwantpur Golgumbaz Express with effect from July 1. Yeshwantpur-Solapur Golgumbaz Express will leave Yeshwantpur at 7.30 p.m. and reach Solapur at 1.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, It will leave Solapur at 2.40 p.m. and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 7.35 a.m. the next day.

Karaikal-Chennai express to run via Tiruvarur from Oct.

The Karaikal-Chennai express will be operated via Tiruvarur, Peralam and Mayiladuthurai from October 11, According a news report .

SHIFTING OF SOME WR TRAINS FROM MUMBAI CENTRAL UPTO 24TH MARCH TO OTHER STATIONS

The yard remodeling work at Mumbai Central for the extension of platforms to accommodate 24 coaches trains is going to be finished by 24th March, 2012. Some Mail/Express and Passenger trains will remain shifted to Dadar, Bandra Terminus and Andheri stations temporarily upto 24th March, 2012.

Accordingly, train no. 12902 Mumbai Cerntral-Ahmedabad Gujarat Mail and train no. 59442 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Passenger will be terminated at Dadar while train no. 59441 Mumbai Central-AhmedabadPassenger will start form Dadar instead of Mumbai Central during this period.

Train nos. 19023/19024 Mumbai Central-Firozpur Janata Express will terminate at and also start from Bandra Terminus. Till then, Firozpur Janata Express will halt temporarily at Andheri Station in both directions for the convenience of passengers.

59462 Dahanu Road-Mumbai Central Shuttle will be terminated at Andheri while 59024/59023 Mumbai Central-Valsad Fast Passenger will start from and terminate at Dadar upto 24th March, 2012.

Terminating / Originating Stations of Passenger Trains Revised

With effect from 7th March, 2012, the terminating / originating stations of the following trains are revised as under:-

1)Train No. 57436 Kurnool Town-Secunderabad Passenger will be terminated at Kacheguda instead of Secunderabad and will stand partially cancelled between Kacheguda-Secunderabad-Kacheguda.

2)Train No. 57447 Secunderabad –Mahaboobnagar Passenger Train will depart from Kacheguda instead of Secunderabad and will stand partially cancelled between Kacheguda-Secunderabad-Kacheguda.

REVISION OF TRAIN TIMINGS CONSEQUENT TO INTRODUCTION OF NEW TRAINS

Consequent to the introduction of new train service between Chennai – Mannargudi and increase in frequency of Chennai – Tiruchendur – Chennai Chendur Expresses, train timings of the following trains will be revised as under.
