Provision of AC III Tier Coach in Place of Sleeper Class Coach

South Central Railway will revise the composition of following trains by providing AC III Tier coach in place of Sleeper Class Coach as per the details mentioned below:-

1.  One of the Sleeper Class Coaches of Slip Coach block running between Kacheguda- Hubli by Train.No. 17603/17225 Kacheguda – Guntakal - Hubli (Mon, Thu, Sat) will be replaced by an AC III Tier coach with effect from 1st February 2014.


2.  One of the Sleeper Class Coaches of Slip Coach block running between Kacheguda- Hubli by Train.No. 17603/18047 Kacheguda – Guntakal - Hubli (Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat) will be replaced by an AC III Tier coach with effect from 2nd February 2014.


3.  One of the Sleeper Class Coaches of Slip Coach block running between Hubli - Kacheguda by Train.No. 17226/17604 Hubli - Guntakal - Kacheguda (Mon, Wed, Sat) will be replaced by an AC III Tier coach with effect from 3rd February 2014.


4.  One of the Sleeper Class Coaches of Slip Coach block running between Hubli - Kacheguda by Train.No. 18048/17604 Hubli - Guntakal - Kacheguda (Tue, Thu, Fri, Sun) will be replaced by an AC III Tier coach with effect from 4th February 2014.

KONARK AND GURUDEV EXPRESS TO HAVE ONE MORE AC-3 TIER COACH

In view of demands from the passengers and rail users, it has been dicided to augment one AC 03 tier coach permanently in Konark and Gurudev Express with immedieate effect.

Earlier, 1020/1019 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai (CSTM)-Bhubaneswar Konark Express was running with 20 coaches i.e. 01 AC-2 tier, 03 AC-3 tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 02 General Second Class, 02 Guard –cum-Luggage van and 01 Pantry Car in its composition.  After augmentation of one AC-3 tier coach, this train will run with 21 coaches.

Similarly, 2659/2660 Nagercoil-Shalimar-Nagercoil Gurudev Express earlier running with 21 coaches has now run with 22 coaches after permanent augmentation of an AC-3 tier coach in its composition.
