REVISES COMPOSITION OF TRAIN YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS
As per the directives of Railway Board, the composition of Train Nos.06511/06512 YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS will be revised and run with conventional rake instead of Garibrath rake, since the existing Garibrath rake is being transferred to South Eastern Railway.The existing and REVISEDComposition are as follows:-
Train No. 06511 YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS will run with revised composition temporarily of total 18 coaches, consisting of One AC 3-tier coach, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Four General Second Class coaches and Two Second Class luggage-cum-brake Vans-cum-disabled coaches, from YESVANTPUR end on Sundays with effect from 20thApril, 2014 to 29th June, 2014, (instead of Sixteen AC 3-tier coaches and Two Luggage-cum Brake Vans with Generator Cars at as present).
Iin the return direction, Train No. 06513 JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS willrun with revised composition temporarily of total 18 coaches, from JAIPUR endon Tuesdays, with effect from 22ndApril, 2014to 01st July, 2014.
There is no change in the timings and days of service ofthis train.The reservation which was freezed with effect from 20th April, 2014 from Yesvantpur end and from 22ndApril, 2014 from Jaipur end, will be defreezed duly defining the revised composition

Special Trains between Secunderabad and Gudur
South Central Railway has announced Sankranthi Special trains between Secunderabad and Gudur on 11th& 12th January, 2014 (vide SCR PR No. 567 dated 4th January, 2014). These special trains will run as Secunderabad-Gudur-Secunderabad Garibrath Sankranthi Special Trains with AC III Tier Accommodation.
The schedule of the trains as follows:
Train No. 02710 Secunderabad-Gudur Garibrath Sankranthi Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 11 00 hrs on 11th January, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Gudur at 21 40 hrs on the same day.
In the return direction, Train No.02709 Gudur-Secunderabad Garibrath Sankranthi Special train will depart Gudur at 00 40 hrs on 12th January, 2014 (Sunday) and arrive Secunderabad at 11 30 hrs on the same day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, ongole and Nellore stations in both directions. These trains will consist of 16 Coaches viz., fourteen AC III Tier and two Power Car / Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.
Note: Advance reservation for these trains will open at 08 00 hrs on 7th January, 2014.

SWR TO RUN WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR
South Western Railway has decided to continue to run WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAINS between YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR (Tr.Nos.06511/06512) for 22 Specials in each direction, as per the following details:--
Accordingly, Train No.06511 YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at YESVANTPUR at 05-10 hrs., on SUNDAYS, commencing from04th August, 2013 to 29th December, 2013 (Total : 22 Specials ) and arrive at JAIPUR station at 03-50 hrs., on Tuesday.
In the return direction, Train No. 06512 JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at JAIPUR at 15-30 hrs. on TUESDAYS, commencing from 06th August, 2013 to 31st December, 2013 (Total : 22 Specials)and arrive at YESVANTPUR at 15-10 hrs., on Thursdays.

Inclusion of Bedroll Charges in the Fare of Garib Rath Express
The Ministry of Railways has decided that the methodology followed regarding supply of bedrolls in Sleeper Class of Duronto Express trains should also be adopted for Garib Rath Express trains. The passengers will now be required to give the option for the bedrolls while booking ticket by Garib Rath express trains and pay requisite charges @ Rs. 25/- per bedroll at the Booking Counter itself. Similar provision will be made for passengers booking tickets through internet.
The above provisions for supply of bedrolls in Garib Rath Express trains shall be implemented on trial basis for a period of six months to assess the demand for bedrolls by these trains under the scheme.
At present, these bedrolls are supplied to the passengers on demand and charges collected separately from the passengers. Of late, frequent complaints are received from various sources regarding supply of used bedroll or half set of bedroll to the passengers, excess charging of passengers, non-issuance of receipt etc. Apart from causing discontent amongst passengers, this also leads to loss of revenue to the Railways.
Once the necessary modifications in the software are made, all Zonal Railways will be intimated the date of effect for the implementation of above mentioned scheme.

Garib Rath Specials between Pune and Chennai Central
Central Railway will run 12 Weekly Specials between Pune and Chennai Central to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Winter season. The details are as under –
Train No. 06028 Special will leave Chennai Central at 18.00 hrs on every Wednesday from 24.10.2012 to 28.11.2012 and will arrive Pune at 13.15 hrs next day.
Train No. 06027 Special will leave Pune at 14.15 hrs on every Thursday from 25.10.2012 to 29.11.2012 and will arrive Chennai Central at 11.35 hrs next day.
Halts - Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Muddanuru, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Nandalur, Razampet, Koduru, Renigunta, Arakkonam, Perambur (for 06027 only)
Composition: 14 AC 3-tier and 2 Luggage cum generator vans.
Reservation: Bookings open for Train No. 06027 from 22.10.2012.

Special Weekly Garib Rath train between Chennai and Pune
Southern Railway will run Garib Rath weekly special trains between Chennai and Pune through October and November.
Train No.06028 Chennai Central – Pune Garib Rath will leave Chennai Central every Wednesday at 4 p.m. from October 24 to November and reach Pune at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Train No.06027 Pune – Chennai Central Garib Rath weekly special will leave on Thursday from Pune at 2.15 p.m. from October 25 to November 29 and arrive here at 11.35 a.m. on Friday.

Increase in Frequency of Mumbai-Jabalpur Garibrath
Ministry of Railways have decided to increase the frequency of 12187 / 12188 Jabalpur - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai - Jabalpur Garib Rath Express from Bi-Weekly to Tri -Weekly with effect from 4.7.2012.

Garib Rath special train between Yeshwantpur and Jaipur
Ministry of Railways has decided to run a Weekly Express Garib Rath special train between Yeshwantpur and Jaipur to clear extra rush.
Train no 06511 Yeshvantpur-Jaipur Weekly Garib Rath Express will depart from Yeshvantpur at 05.20 hrs on every Sunday from 20/05/2012 to 10/06/2012 and will arrive at Jaipur at 04.05 hrs on Tuesday.
In its return journey, Train No. 06512 Jaipur-Yeshvantpur Weekly Garib Rath Express will leave Jaipur at 15.30 hrs on every Tuesday from 22/05/2012 to 12/06/2012 and will reach Yeshvantpur at 15.10 hrs on Thursday.
It consists ofAC 3-tier coaches.
It will halt at Tumkur, Arasikere, Biru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubli, Gadag, Bagalkot,Bijapur, Solapur, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad,Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Mehshana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Ajmer and Kishangarh station in both the directions.

Yesvantpur-Jaipur special trains extended by a month
South Western Railway (SWR) has taken a decision to continue to run weekly Garib Rath Express Specials between Yesvantpur-Jaipur-Yesvantpur (Train Nos 06511/06512) in each direction due to holiday season.
Accordingly, Train No.06511 Yesvantpur-Jaipur special train will depart from Yesvantpur at 5.20 am on Sundays and arrive at Jaipur at 4.05 am on Tuesdays. This is with effect from May 20 to June 10.
In the return direction, Train No.06512 Jaipur-Yesvantpur special train will depart from Jaipur at 3.30 pm on Tuesdays and arrive at Yesvantpur at 3.10 pm on Thursdays. This is with effect from May 22 to June 12.
The weekly Garib Rath Express Special will have total 18 coaches comprising 16 AC 3-tier coaches and 2 motor cars.
