SPECIAL UNRESERVED EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN AMRITSAR AND SAHARSA (SINGLE TRIP)

  T o clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, Northern Railway has decided to run festival special Train No. 04960 Amritsar- Saharsa Unreserved Expresson 04.09.2014 (single trip) as per the following schedule:

The 04960 Amritsar- Saharsa Unreserved Express train will depart from Amritsar o­n 04.09.2014 (single trip) at 01.15 p.m. to reach Saharsa at 08.00 p.m. the next day.

Comprising of twenty General Class & Two Second Class cum luggage vancoaches, the 04960 Amritsar- Saharsa Unreserved Express trainwill stop at Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt. Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzzafarpur, Samastipur & Khagaria stations enroute in both the directions.

RAILWAYS RUN JANSADHARAN SPECIAL TRAINS

 In order to clear extra rush of passengers during current summer season,. Railway is running Jansadharan Special trains.  There are six (6) pairs of Jansadharan Special trains having unreserved accommodations, running via Northern Railway’s stations and scheduled to provide services to the passengers during the month of June, 2014.  The Jansadharan Special trains include –

1)04004/04003 Anand Vihar Terminal – Kolkata Jansadharan Weekly special to run upto 28.6.2014 from Anand Vihar o­n every Friday & from Kolkata o­n every Saturday.

2)04026/04025 Anand Vihar Terminal – Gorakhpur Jansadharan weekly special to run upto 25.6.2014 from Anand Vihar o­n every Tuesday & from Gorakhpur o­n every Wednesday.

3)05517/05518 Saharsa – Ambala Cantt. bi-weekly special train to run upto 29.6.2014 from Saharasa o­n Saturday and Wednesday & from Ambala Cantt. o­n Sunday & Tursday.

4)05529/05530 Jaynagar – Anand Vihar Terminal Jansadaharan bi-weekly special train to run upto 29.6.2014 from Jaynagar o­n Tuesday and Saturday and from Anand Vihar Terminal o­n Wednesday and Sunday.

5)09421/09422 Ahmedabad – Darbhanga Jansadharan superfast weekly special train to run upto 02.7.2014 from Ahmedabad o­n Monday & from Darbhanga o­n Wednesday.

6)04006/04005 New Delhi -Ranchi- New Delhi Weekly Jan Sadhran Superfast special train to run upto 27.06.2014 from New Delhi o­n every Thursday  & from Ranchi o­n every Friday.

            These are fully unreserved trains & passengers finding it difficult to avail reservation in other regular trains may utilize the services of these Jansadharan special trains.

UNRESERVED SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN KOCHUVELI – DIBRUGARH

To clear the extra rush of traffic in Kochuveli – Dibrugarh sector, Southern Railway will run the following fortnightly special trains.

Kochuveli – Dibrugarh – Kochuveli (via. Chennai Central) fortnightly special trains:

Train No.06336 Kochuveli – Dibrugarh fortnightly special will leave Kochuveli at 22.00 hrs. on 03rd, 17th, 31st May, 14th and 28th June, 2014 (Saturdays), leave Chennai Central at 16.10 hrs. on Sundays and reach Dibrugarh at 08.15 hrs. on Wednesdays.

Train No.06335 Dibrugarh – Kochuveli fortnightly special will leave Dibrugarh at 00.15 hrs. on 08th, 22nd May, 05th, 19th June and 03rd July, 2014 (Thursdays), leave Chennai Central at 18.15 hrs. on Saturdays and reach Kochuveli at 11.40 hrs. on Sundays.

The composition of the trains will be 21 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

Unreserved Special Trains from Mumbai to Nagpur

Railways have decided to run six Special trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus / Dadar to Sewagram /Ajni /Nagpur to clear the extra rush of passengers on account of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Maha Parinirvan Divas being celebrated at Dadar Chaitya Bhoomi o­n 6th December 2013. The details of special trains are as under:-

A) TWO UNRESERVED SPECIAL TRAINS on 6.12.2013
1) Train No. 01005 Special train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 16.05 hrs o­n 6.12.2013 and will arrive Ajni at 08.10 hrs next day.

2) Train No. 01007 Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 18.40 hrs on 6.12.2013 and will arrive Sewagram at 10.30 hrs next day.

B)TWO UNRESERVED SPECIAL TRAINS on 7.12.2013
3) Train No. 01011 Special will leave Dadar at 00.40 hrs o­n 7.12.2013 (midnight of 6/7.12.2013) and will arrive Nagpur at 18.00 hrs same day.

4) Train No. 01021 Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 12.35 hrs on 7.12.2013 and will arrive Nagpur 03.30 hrs next day.

Central Railway has decided to run two unreserved special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai and Nagpur to clear the extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival. The details are as under –

01113 unreserved special train will leave CST Mumbai at 00.20 hrs o­n 2.11.2013 (midnight of Friday/Saturday) and will arrive Nagpur at 15.00 hrs same day.

01114 unreserved special train will leave Nagpur at 16.00 hrs o­n Saturday 2.11.2013 and will arrive CST Mumbai at 08.15 hrs next day.

Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Akola, Badnera, Chandur, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon and Wardha.

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN FIROZPUR- PATNA

For the convenience and to clear extra rush of rail passengers,   Northern Railway has decided to run one trip (one way) of Special train No. 04606 Firozpur- Patna  as per the following programme :-

The 04606 Firozpur- Patna Special train will depart from Firozpur on 27.10.2013 (01 Trip) at 02.50 p.m. to reach Patna at 08.45 p.m. the next day.
              Comprising of fourteen General Class and two Disabled Friendly Second class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 04606 Firozpur- Patna Special train will stop at Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt., Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara & Danapur stations enroute.

Unreserved Special Train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Gorakhpur on 11.10.2013

Central Railway will run a Special Train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  to Gorakhpur (One Way) as per details given below:

Train No. 01001 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 01.20 pm o­n 11.10.2013 and will arrive Gorakhpur at 4.45 am o­n 13.10.2013.

  For the convenience and to clear extra rush of rail passengers during festive season, Railway has decided to run Puja Special train No. 05517/05518 Saharsa- Ambala Cantt.- Saharsa Bi- Weekly Express and 05521/05522 Darbhanga- Ambala Cantt.- Darbhanga  Bi- Weekly Express special as per the following programme :-

The 05517 Saharsa- Ambala Cantt. Bi- Weekly Express Puja Special train will depart from Saharsa on every Tuesday & Saturday from 08.10.2013 to 22.10.2013 (05 trips) at 09.35 a.m. to reach Ambala Cantt. at 02.30 p.m. the next day. The 05521 Darbhanga- Ambala Cantt. Bi- Weekly Express Puja Special train will depart from Darbhanga on every Sunday & Thursday from 10.10.2013 to 22.20.2013 (04 trips) at 11.30 a.m. to reach Ambala Cantt. at 02.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 05522 Ambala Cantt.- Darbhanga Bi- Weekly Express Puja Special train will depart from Ambala Cantt. on every Monday & Friday from 11.10.2013 to 21.10.2013 (04 trips) at 04.15 p.m. to reach Darbhanga at 09.00 p.m. the next day.

Comprising of Sixteen General Class and two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 05521/05522 Darbhanga- Ambala Cantt.- Darbhanga Bi- Weekly Express Puja Special train will stop at Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt., Shahjahanpur, Bareilley, Moradabad and Saharanpur stations enroute in both the directions.

SCR to Run One Janatha Special Train

  In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run one Janatha Special Train between Hyderabad - Kakinada Town and another Janatha Special Train between Kakinada Town - Lingampalli as per the following schedule:-

 1.Hyderabad-Kakinada Town Janatha Special Train (01 Service):-

 Train No. 07101 Hyderabad-Kakinada Town Janatha Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 22 50 hrs on 24th August, 2013 (Saturday) and arrive Kakinada Town at 09 25 hrs on the next day.

       Enroute, this train will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot Stations.

            This train will comprise of 14 Coaches Viz., 12 General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches.



2.Kakinada Town - Lingampalli Janatha Special Train (01 Service):-

Train No. 07102 Kakinada Town - Lingampalli Janatha Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 22 30 hrs on 25th August, 2013 (Sunday) and arrive Lingampalli at 10 15 hrs on the next day.

            Enroute, this train will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet and Secunderabad Stations.

             This train will comprise of 14 Coaches Viz., 12 General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches.

Special train between Bandra Tr and Gorakhpur

 For the convenience of passengers, WR will run unreserved special train between Bandra Terminus and Gorakhpur o­n 23rd & 30th June, 2013.

Train No. 05062 Bandra(T)-Gorakhpur special train will leave Bandra (T) at 05.10 hrs o­n 23rd & 30th June, 2013 and reach Gorakhpur at 18.45 hrs, the next day. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 05061 Gorakhpur-Bandra (T) Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 07.10 hrs o­n 21st and 28th June, 2013 and reach Bandra (T) at 17.35 hrs, the next day.

 The train comprises of second class general coaches.

 The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur,Hindaun City, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Mathura Jn, Hathras City, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow Jn, Goda, Basti and Khalilabad stations in both directions.

Unreserved Spl between Hyderabad and Kakinada Town

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will  run a Janatha Special Train between Hyderabad-Kakinada Town-Hyderabad as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07101 Hyderabad-Kakinada Town Janatha Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 22 50 hrs o­n 31st May, 2013 (Friday) and arrive Kakinada Town  at 09 25 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07102 Kakinada Town - HyderabadSpecial Train will depart Kakinada Town at 19 15 hrs o­n 1st June, 2013 (Saturday) and arrive Hyderabad at 05 50 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, this train will   stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot Stations in both the directions.



            These trains will comprise of 14 General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches totalling to 16 coaches. 

SCR runs the first ever Janatha Special

Keeping in view the general summer rush of passengers and especially in the light of anticipated passenger demand in the coming days, South Central Railway has taken an initiative to run a special express train - Janatha Special, between Hyderabad and Kakinada consisting of o­nly unreserved second class coaches o­n an experimental basis.

             This service is mainly aimed at general second class passengers and those passengers who could not secure reservation and are ready to travel in unreserved coaches.This service will also be helpful in reducing the pressure o­n the general coaches of the regular trains in this route.This Janatha Special is designed to provide an affordable overnight travel facility with convenient timings in the busy route of Hyderabad-Kazipet-Khammam- Vijayawada-Rajahmundry-Kakinada. This train is provided limited halts (10 o­nly) and covers a distance of 574 kms. in 10 hrs. 35 minutes.The fare between Hyderabad and Kakinada by this train is Rs.145/-.

             This first everJanatha Special service with Train No. 07101 will leave Hyderabad at 22:50 hrs. tomorrow ie. 25th May, 2013 and will arrive Kakinada Town at 09:25 hrs. the next day.In the return direction, Train No. 07102 will leave Kakinada Town at 19:15 hrs. o­n 26th May, 2013 and will arrive Hyderabadat 05:50 hrs. the next day.

              Enroute, this train willstop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru,Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot Stations in both the directions.

             The train will comprise of 14 general second class and 2 second class luggage cum brake van coaches totalling to 16 coaches.
