Premium Superfast Special Trains to Gorakhpur

Central Railway will extend the run of premium special train between Lokmanya Tilak terminus and Gorakhpur by two more trips to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer holidays as per details given under:

Train No. 02017 premium superfast special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n 8.6.2014 & 15.6.2014 at 23.40 hrs and arrive Gorakhpur at 04.25 hrs o­n third day.

Train No.02018 premium superfast special train will leave Gorakhpur o­n 10.6.2014 & 17.6.2014 at 08.25 hrs and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.50 hrs next day.

HALTS: Bhusaval, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow.

COMPOSITION: Six AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class & o­ne pantry car

RESERVATION: Bookings will open THROUGH INTERNET for 02017 o­n 7.6.2014 for both the trips.

SCR to Run Six MEMU Passenger Special Trains Between Vijayawada and Guntur

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run six MEMU passenger special trains between Vijayawada and Guntur o­n 8th June, 2014 as per the following schedule:-

I)Train No. 07261/07262 Vijayawada-Guntur-Vijayawada MEMU special train:-

Train No. 07261 Vijayawada-Guntur MEMU special train will depart Vijayawada at10:00 am, arrive/depart Mangalgiri at 10:22/10:24 am, Nagarjuna Nagar at 10:31/10:33 am, Nambur at 10:40/10:42 am and arrive Guntur at 11:00 am.


In the return direction Train No. 07262 Guntur-Vijayawada MEMU special train will depart Guntur at 11:20 am, arrive/depart Nambur at 11:33/11:35 am, Nagarjuna Nagar at 11:42/11:44 am, Mangalgiri 11:51/11:53 and arrive Vijayawada at 12:20 pm.

II) Train No. 07263/07264 Vijayawada-Guntur-Vijayawada MEMU special train:-

Train No. 07263 Vijayawada-Guntur MEMU special train will depart Vijayawada at03:00 pm, arrive/depart Mangalgiri at 03:22/03:24 pm, Nagarjuna Nagar at 03:31/03:33 pm, Nambur at 03:40/03:42 pm and arrive Guntur at 04:00 pm.


In the return direction Train No. 07264 Guntur-Vijayawada MEMU special train will depart Guntur at 04:15 pm, arrive/depart Nambur at 04:27/04:29 pm, Nagarjuna Nagar at 04:36/04:38 pm, Mangalgiri 04:45/04:47 pm and arrive Vijayawada at 05:15 pm.

III)    Train No. 07265/07266 Vijayawada-Guntur-Vijayawada MEMU special train:-

Train No. 07265 Vijayawada-Guntur MEMU special train will depart Vijayawada at05:30 pm, arrive/depart Mangalgiri at 05:52/05:54 pm, Nagarjuna Nagar at 06:01/06:03 pm, Nambur at 06:10/06:12 pm and arrive Guntur at 06:30 pm.

In the return direction Train No. 07266 Guntur-Vijayawada MEMU special train will depart Guntur at 10:10 pm, arrive/depart Nambur at 10:23/10:25 pm, Nagarjuna Nagar at 10:32/10:34 pm, Mangalgiri 10:41/10:43 pm and arrive Vijayawada at 11:10 pm.

These trains will consist of eight coaches viz., six General Class and two motor cars coaches.

NEW DAILY EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN ANAND VIHAR T. AND KOLKATA

For the convenience of passengers, Railway has decided to introduce new Train No. 13131/13132 Kolkata-Anand Vihar T.- Kolkata Daily Express as per the following schedule:-

The 13131 Kolkata- Anand Vihar T. Daily Express train will depart from Kolkata at 07.50 p.m. from 01.07.2014 to reach Anand Vihar T. at 11.40 a.m. In the return direction, the 13132 Anand Vihar T.- Kolkata Daily Expresstrain will depart from Anand Vihar T. at 03.30 p.m. from 01.07.2014 to reach Kolkata at 07.30 a.m.

 Comprising of A.C. 2 tier, A.C. 3 tier & Sleeper Class coaches, the 13131/13132 Kolkata- Anand Vihar T.- Kolkata Daily Express train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Bardhman, Durgapur, Raniganj, Asansol, Chhitranjan, Jamtara, Madhupur, Jaiidih, Simultala, Jhajha, Mughalsarai, Kanpur, Ghaziabad & Sahibabad stations enroute in both directions.

EXTENSION OF 15610/15609 LALGARH-GUWAHATI AVADH ASSAM EXPRESS UPTO NEW TINSUKIA

As announced in the budget 2013-14 for the convenience of rail passengers, Railway has decided to extend the run of Train no. 15610/15609 Lalgarh-Guwahati- Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express upto New Tinsukia. The Timings and Commercial stoppage of 15609/15610 Guwahati-Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express over extended portion are given below:

       The 15609 New Tinsukia- Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express train will depart from New Tinsukia at 10.40 a.m.  from 21.06.2014 to reach Lalgarh at 05.45 a.m. the Third day. In the return direction, the 15610 Lalgarh- New Tinsukia Avadh Assam Express train will depart from Lalgarh at 07.45 p.m. from 18.06.2014 & from  Guwahati from 21.06.2014 to reach New Tinsukia at 03.00 p.m. the Third day.

 The 15610/15609 Lalgarh-Guwahati- Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express train will stop at Simaluguri Jn., Mariani Jn., Furkating Jn., Dimapur, Diphu, Lumding, Hojai, Chaparmukh & Jagiroad stations enroute in both directions.

With the extension upto New Tinsukia, number of the train will be changed as 15909/15910 New Tinsukia- Lalgarh- New TinsukiaAvadh Assam Express train from 29-08-2014.

SCR to run Special Trains between various destination

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season. South Central Railway will run special trains as per the following schedule:-

Secunderabad-Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Special Trains (via Nalgonda, Guntur):

Train No. 07101 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town special trainwill depart Secunderabad at 11:00 pm o­n 7th June, 2014(Saturday) and arrive Kakinada Town at 08:35 am o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.07102 Kakinada Town - Secunderabad Special train will depart Kakinada Town at 06:35 pm o­n 8th June, 2014 (Sunday)and arrive Secunderabad at 04:40 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Pidugurala, Guntur, Nambur, Nagarjuna Nagar, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and Samalkot stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 16 coaches viz., two AC II Tier, two AC III Tier and ten Sleeper Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.

Vijayawada-Tirupati-Vijayawada Special Trains (via New Guntur):

Train No. 07210 Vijayawada – Tirupati special train will depart Vijayawada at 10:00 pm o­n 6th June, 2014 (Friday)and arrive Tirupati at 08:10 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.07209 Tirupati – Vijayawada special train will depart Tirupati at 11:00 pm o­n 9th June, 2014 (Monday) and arrive Vijayawada at 06:20 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nagarjuna Nagar, Nambur, New Guntur, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, o­ngole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations o­n both the directions.

These trains will have 16 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III tier, ten sleeper class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.

Tirupati-Narsapur-Tirupati Special Trains (via New Guntur):

Train No. 07401 Tirupati-Narsapur special train will depart Tirupati at 11:00 pmon 7thJune, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Narsapur at 10:50 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07402 Narsapur-Tiruapti special train will depart Narsapur at 6:15 pm o­n 8thJune, 2014 (Sunday) and arrive Tiruapti at 08.25 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, o­ngole, Chirala, Bapatla, Nidubrolu, Tenali, New Guntur, Nambur, Nagarjuna Nagar, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikalur, Akivedu, Bhimavaram, Veravasaram and Palakolu station o­n both the directions.

Kakinada Town – Guntur – Kakinada Town Jansadharan Special Trains (Via Bhimavaram) :

Train No.07209 Kakinada Town – Guntur Janasadharan Special train with all General Second Class Coaches will depart Kakinada Town at 1:00 pm o­n 7th June, 2014 (Saturday)and arrive Guntur at 07:15 pm o­n the same day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07210 Guntur-Kakinada Town Jansadharan Special train with all General Second Class Coaches will depart Guntur at 10:10 pm o­n 7th June, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:20 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram, Akivedu, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Nagarjuna Nagar and Nambur stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 16 coaches viz., fourteen General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.

Visakhapatnam-Guntur- Visakhapatnam Jansadharan Special Trains (via Vijayawada):

Train No. 07240 Visakhapatnam-Guntur Jansadharan Special train with all General Second Class Coaches will depart Visakhapatnam at 10:15 pm o­n 7th June, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Guntur at 07:10 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction,Train No. 07239 Guntur-Visakhapatnam Janasadharan Special train with all General Second Class Coaches will depart Guntur at 11:00 pm o­n 8th June, 2014 (Sunday)and arrive Visakhapatnam at 07:30 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Ankapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Pithapuram, Samalkot, Anaparti, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Nagarjuna Nagar and Nambur stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 16 coaches viz., fourteen General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches. 

Train halt at Tirusulam

Southern Railway has announced that Chennai Egmore – Puducherry – Chennai Egmore Express will stop at Tirusulam Railway Station temporarily for a period of four months with effect from June 13 to October 12 on an experimental basis.

The Chennai Egmore – Puducherry Express (16115) will halt at 18.27 and the Puducherry – Chennai Egmore Express (16116) will halt at Tirusulam station at 08.55.

Temporary stoppages withdrawn from July 1st 2014.

Southern Railway has withdrawn temporary stoppages of trains in various stations coming under the Salem Railway Division from July 1.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE AT NERLAKATTE STATION

South Western Railway has decided to provide one minute stoppage at NERLAKATTE station situated between Kabakaputtur-Bantawal stations on Mysore Division for Train Nos.56642/56643 Kabakaputtur-Mangalore-Kabakaputtur Passengers; Train Nos. 56644/56645 Mangalore-Kabakaputtur-Mangalore Passengers & Train Nos.56646/56647 Subrahmanya Road-Mangalore-Subrahmanya Road Passengers on experimental basis with effect from 30th May, 2014 to 30th September, 2014.

RAILWAYS RUN JANSADHARAN SPECIAL TRAINS

 In order to clear extra rush of passengers during current summer season,. Railway is running Jansadharan Special trains.  There are six (6) pairs of Jansadharan Special trains having unreserved accommodations, running via Northern Railway’s stations and scheduled to provide services to the passengers during the month of June, 2014.  The Jansadharan Special trains include –

1)04004/04003 Anand Vihar Terminal – Kolkata Jansadharan Weekly special to run upto 28.6.2014 from Anand Vihar o­n every Friday & from Kolkata o­n every Saturday.

2)04026/04025 Anand Vihar Terminal – Gorakhpur Jansadharan weekly special to run upto 25.6.2014 from Anand Vihar o­n every Tuesday & from Gorakhpur o­n every Wednesday.

3)05517/05518 Saharsa – Ambala Cantt. bi-weekly special train to run upto 29.6.2014 from Saharasa o­n Saturday and Wednesday & from Ambala Cantt. o­n Sunday & Tursday.

4)05529/05530 Jaynagar – Anand Vihar Terminal Jansadaharan bi-weekly special train to run upto 29.6.2014 from Jaynagar o­n Tuesday and Saturday and from Anand Vihar Terminal o­n Wednesday and Sunday.

5)09421/09422 Ahmedabad – Darbhanga Jansadharan superfast weekly special train to run upto 02.7.2014 from Ahmedabad o­n Monday & from Darbhanga o­n Wednesday.

6)04006/04005 New Delhi -Ranchi- New Delhi Weekly Jan Sadhran Superfast special train to run upto 27.06.2014 from New Delhi o­n every Thursday  & from Ranchi o­n every Friday.

            These are fully unreserved trains & passengers finding it difficult to avail reservation in other regular trains may utilize the services of these Jansadharan special trains.

Special Trains between Aurangabad - Tirupati & Secunderabad – Guwahati to run for some more trips

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, South Central Railway will extend the run of Special Trains between Aurangabad - Tirupati and Secunderabad – Guwahati  for some more trips as per the following schedule:-

1.Aurangabad – Tirupati – Aurangabad Special Train  (2 services):

Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 03:00 pm o­n 6th June , 2014 (Friday) and arrive Tirupati at 03:30 pm o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 05:10 pm o­n 7th June, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Aurangabad at 08:00 pm o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizambad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti and Renigunta
stations in both directions.

These special trains will consist of 15 Coaches viz., o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two General Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.



2.Secunderabad-Guwahati-Secunderabad Special Train (4 services):

Train No. 07249 Secunderabad - Guwahati Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 07:30 am o­n 13thand 20th June, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Guwahati at 07:55 am o­n the second day i.e., Sundays.

In the return direction, Train No.07250 Guwahati - Secunderabad Special Train will depart Guwahati at 06:00 am o­n 16th and 23rdJune, 2014 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 10:00 am o­n the second day i.e., Wednesdays.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Palasa, Berhampur, Kurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Howrah, Bolpur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Dhupguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon, Goalpura Town and Kamakhya stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 16 coaches viz, o­ne Ist AC cum AC II Tier, o­ne AC II Tier, Five Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class Chair Car, Four General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.
