Extension of Jaipur-Yashwant-Jaipur Garib rath Special train

NEW STOPPAGE TO DELHI SARAI ROHILLA – FIROZPUR INTER CITY EXPRESS

For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide a temporary stoppage to the train no.. 14625/14626 DelhiSarai Rohilla – Firozpur Inter City express at Nangloi station with immediate effect due to cancellation of 13007/13008 Udyan Abha Express as per the following programme:-

The 14625 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Firozpur Inter City express will reach Nangloi at 07.19 a.m. while in the return direction, the 14626  Firozpur - Delhi Sarai Rohilla Inter City express will reach Nangloi at 11.08 a.m. with one minute stoppage in both directions.

cancellation due to dense fog

NEW STOPPAGE TO THREE PAIRS OF EXPRESS TRAINS AT MAIKALGANJ

 For the convenience of rail passengers, the Railway has decided to provide a new stoppage to the train no. 15211/15212 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jannayak Express, 15209/15210 Saharsa-Amritsar Jansewa Express & 12491/12492 Muzaffarpur-Jammu Tawi Mour Dhwaj express at Maikalganj station on an experimental basis for six months  in both directions from  01.01.2014 as per the following programme:-

The 15209 Saharsa-Amritsar Jan Sewa Express will reach Maikalganj at 03.11 a.m. while in the return direction the 15210 Amritsar-Saharsa Jan Sewa Express will reach Maikalganj at 03.11 a.m. with one minute stoppage in both directions.

The 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jannayak Express will reach Maikalganj at 11.16 a.m. while in the return direction the 15211 Amritsar-Darbhanga Jan Nayak Express will reach Maikalganj at 08.51 a.m. with one minute stoppage in both directions.

The 12491 Muzaffarpur-Jammu Tawi Mour Dhwaj Express will reach Maikalganj at 09.18 p.m. while in the return direction the 12492 Jammu Tawi-Muzaffarpur Mour Dhwaj Express will reach Maikalganj at 10.28 a.m. with one minute stoppage in both directions.


RAILWAY EXTENDS RUN OF NEW DELHI-BHUBNESHWAR FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAIN

In order to cater extra rush of passengers in Winter season ,  the Railway has decided to extend the run of the 02815/02816 New Delhi-Bhubneshwar-New Delhi Festival Special train in both directions as per the following programme:-

The 02815 Bhubneshwar-New Delhi Special train will depart from Bhubneshwar at 08.10 a.m. on every Sunday from 05.01.14 to 26.01.14 (04 trips) to reach New Delhi at 08.45 a.m. the next day. While in the return direction, the 02816 New Delhi-Bhubneshwar Special train will depart from New Delhi at 01.00 p.m. on every Monday from 06.01.14 to 27.01.14 (04 trips) to reach Bhubneshwar at 11.05 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of  four AC III Tier, one AC II Tier, 11 Second Sleeper, three general class besides luggage van coaches, the 02815/02816 New Delhi-Bhubneshwar-New Delhi Special train will stop at Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijili, Bankura, Adra, Gomoh, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both directions.

Extension of 22913/14 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Premium Air-Conditioned Special train

Ministry of Railways has decided to extend the run of premium AC Superfast Between Mumbai and New Delhi i.e. 22913/14 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Express Ex Mumbai Central 03rd & 05th January,2014 , Ex New Delhi 04th & 06th January,2014.

The train departs from Mumbai Central at 16.00 hrs and reach New Delhi at 07.55 hrs. Similarly, in return direction the train departs from New Delhi at 14.50 hrs and reach Mumbai Central at 06.55 hrs.

Salient Features:

There will be no commercial stoppages enroute for this train. The trains shall originate and terminate at Mumbai Central and New Delhi stations.

There will be o­nly two classes of travel accommodation, viz AC-3 Tier and AC-2 Tier. Catering shall be provided o­n-board and catering charges shall be part of tariff.

No waitlisted tickets shall be issued. There will be no refund except when the train is fully cancelled on railway account due to unforeseen circumstances or due to severe disturbances affecting operations. Adult fare shall be charged for all passengers irrespective of their age. No concession shall be applicable to this train.

The booking shall be available only through internet, that is IRCTC’s portal and not through the counters at reservation centers. The passengers are required to carry the prescribed original photo identity card which is used at the time of booking. The fares applicable for each day/transaction shall be indicated at the time of booking on the IRCTC’s e-ticketing website.

The advance reservation period will be shorter, that is a maximum of 15 days, and the fare shall be equal to or higher than the Rajdhani Tatkal fare. The fare is also likely to increase depending o­n the demand intensity.

Only e-tickets will be permitted for booking. The trains will be monitored closely by Zonal Railways for ensuring adherence to schedule.

The booking of  first trip i.e. 03rd January,2014 of 22913 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Express will starts from 28th December,2013 and that of Second trip i.e. 05th January,2014 will be opened 07 days before the date of journey ( excluding the date of journey).


Railways to Commission Khanapur-Humnabad New Rail Line & Flag Off Humnabad-Bidar DEMU Passenger Train

Shri Mallikajun Kharge, Honorable Minister for Railways will commission Khanapur-Humnabad New Rail Line (Part of Bidar-Gulbarga New Rail Line Project) & flag off the inaugural Humnabad-Bidar DEMU Passenger Train at a function to be held at Humnabad Railway Station  at 11:30 am on Sunday, the 29th  December, 2013.

The function will be held in the august presence of Shri Dr. N. Dharam Singh, Honorable Ex. Chief Minister of Karnataka & Member of Parliament (Bidar), Smt. Umashree, Honorable Minister for Women & Child Development, Kannada and Cultural Department and District In-charge Minister (Bidar), Govt. of Karnataka. Other Honorable public representatives concerned,  dignitaries and senior railway officials will also participate in the function.

The inaugural run of the DEMU Passenger on its flagging off will depart from Humnabad Railway Station at 11:30 hrs on 29th December, 2013, depart Nanagaon at 11:44 hrs, Hallikhed at 12:06 hrs, Kanaji at 12:23 hrs, Khanapur at 12:42 hrs and arrive Bidar at 13:15 hrs on the same day.

Regular Train services on this section will commence form 30th December, 2013.  South Central Railway will run three DEMU Passenger trains between Bidar and  Humnabad  and three DEMU Passenger trains  in the return direction between Humnabad and Bidar as per the following schedule:- These train services will  run on all days of the week except on Thursdays and Sundays.

1)Train No.77651 Bidar-Humnabad DEMU Passenger train will depart Bidar at 05:00 hrs Khanapur at 05:20 hrs, Kanaji at 05:38 hrs, Hallikhed at 05:55 hrs, Nandagaon at 06:16 hrs. and arrive Humnabad at 06:45 hrs on the same day.

2) Train No. 77653 Bidar-Humnabad DEMU Passenger train will depart Bidar at 13: 30 hrs Khanapur at 13:50 hrs, Kanaji at 14:08 hrs, Hallikhed at 14:25 hrs, Nandagaon at 14:46 hrs.and arrive Humnabad at 15:15 hrs.  

3) Train No. 77655 Bidar-Humnabad DEMU Passenger train will depart Bidar at 18:00 hrs Khanapur at 18:20 hrs, Kanaji at 18:38 hrs, Hallikhed at 18:55 hrs, Nandagaon at 19:16 hrs.and arrive Humnabad at 19:45 hrs.

4) Train No. 77652 Humnabad-Bidar DEMU Passenger train will depart Humnabad at 07:30 hrs,   Nandagaon at 07:44 hrs, Hallikhed at 08:06 hrs, kanaji at 08:23 hrs, Khanpur at 08:42 hrs and arrive  Bidar at 09:15 hrs on the same day.

5) Train No. 77654 Humnabad-Bidar DEMU Passenger train will depart Humnabad at 15:30 hrs,  Nandagaon at 15:43 hrs, Hallikhed at 16:05 hrs, kanaji at  16:22 hrs, Khanpur at 16:40 hrs. and arrive  Bidar at 17:15 hrs on the same day.

6) Train No. 77656 Humnabad-Bidar DEMU Passenger train will depart Humnabad at 20:00 hrs,  Nandagaon at 20:13 hrs, Hallikhed at 20:35  hrs, kanaji at 20:52 hrs, Khanpur at 21:10 hrs and arrive  Bidar at 21:45 hrs on the same day.

Special Trains between Secunderabad to Vijayawada/Visakhapatnam

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, South Central Railway will run twenty Sankranthi Special Trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada & Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

1. Secunderabad-Vijayawada Sankranthi Special Train (via Guntur): (10 Services)
Train No. 07208 Secunderabad-Vijayawada Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 23 15 hrs on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Vijayawada at 05 45 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07207 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 23 00 hrs o­n 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th January (Thursdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 05 40 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur and Mangalagiri stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 15 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

2 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Superfast Sankranthi Special Train (via Warangal, Vijayawada): (10 Services)
Train No. 02728 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 2210 hrs on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10 35 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st February  (Thursdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 07 50 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamundry, Sakalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 17 coaches viz, one I st AC, three AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier  and two Power Car Coaches.

NEW TRAINS TOWARDS TATA & KOLLAM FROM VISAKHAPATNAM

As announced in last Railway Budget for running of weekly Express trains towards Tata & Kollam from Visakhapatnam, Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce Visakhapatnam-Tata weekly express via Brahmapur-Bhubaneswar & Kendujhargarh w.e.f. 5th January 2014 and Visakhapatnam-Kollam weekly Express w.e.f. 30th January 2014 from Visakhapatnam.

18516 Visakhapatnam-Tata weekly Express via Brahmapur-Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh will leave Visakhapatnam at 1745 hrs on every Sunday and will arrive at Tata at 1045 hrs on every Monday. In the return direction, 18515 Tata-Visakhapatnam weekly Express will leave Tata at 1300 hrs on every Monday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0440 hrs on every Tuesday.

This train has One AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tiers, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Simhachalam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Sompeta, Ichhapuram, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Mancheswar, Cuttackm Jakhapura, Sukinda Road, Harichandanpur, Kendujhargarh, Nayagarh, Bangiriposi, Dongaposi, Chaibasa and Rajkharasuan between Visakhapatnam & Tata.


18567 Visakhapatnam-Kollam weekly Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 0900 hrs on every Thursday and will arrive at Kollam at 1410 hrs on every Friday. In the return direction, 18568 Kollam-Visakhapatnam weekly Express will leave Kollam at 2100 hrs on every Friday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0135 hrs on every Sunday (after midnight of Saturday).

This train has One AC-2 tier, Three AC-3 tiers, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Yellmancheli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijaywada, Tenali, Baptala, o­ngole, Nelore, Gudur, Reniguntha, Katpadi, Jollarpetai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbator, Palakkad, Thrisur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur and Kayanakulam between Visakhapatnam & Kollam.
