The following four Weekly Express Trains, which were announced in the Railway Budget 2011-12, passing through or terminating in South Central Railway, will be introduced as per the schedule detailed hereunder:-
1)Howrah-Mysore-Howrah weekly Super Fast Express: After inaugural services,the regular service of this train will commence from 24th February, 2012 Ex. Howrah and from 27th February 2012 Ex. Mysore.Accordingly, Train No. 22817 Howrah-Mysore weekly Super fast Express will depart Howrah at 16.10 hrs on Fridaysfrom 24th February, 2012 and arrive at Mysore at 05.00 hrs on Sundays. In the return direction, Train No. 22818 Mysore-Howrah weekly Super fast Express will depart Mysore at 00 30 hrs on Mondays from 27th February, 2012 and arrive Howrah at 14 50hrs on the next day.Enroute these trains will stop at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagarm, Visahakhapatanam, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Renigunta, Katpadi , Jolarpettai, Krishnarajapuram, and Bangalore. These trains will have 18 Coaches viz., one AC II tier, Two AC III tier, Seven Sleeper class, Six General Second classand Two second class luggage cum brake van Coaches.
2)Shalimar-Secunderabad-Shalimarweekly Super Fast Express: Shalimar-Secunderabad-Shalimar weekly Super fast Expresswill be introduced from 24th Februay, 2012 Ex. Shalimar and from 26thFebruary, 2012 Ex. Secunderabad. Accordingly, Train No. 22849 Shalimar-Secunderabad weekly super fast Express will depart Shalimar at 12 20 hrs on Fridaysfrom 24thFebruary, 2012and arrive at Secunderabad at 15 00 hrs on next day. In the return direction, Train No. 22850 Secunderabad-Shalimar weekly Super fast Express will depart Secunderabad at 05 30 hrs on Sundays, from 26thFebruary, 2012 and arrive Shalimar at 09 20 hrs on the next day.Enroute these trains will stop at Santragachi, Karagpur, Jaleswer, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttak, Bhubaneswar, Kurda Road, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmudry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Warangal and Kazipet. These trains will have 15 Coaches viz., one AC II tier, Two AC III tier, Seven Sleeper class, three General Second Classand Two second class luggage cum brake van Coaches.
3)Santragachi - Huzursahib Nanded - Santragachi Weekly Express :- Santragachi-Huzursahib Nanded-Santragachi Weekly Express will be introduced from 22ndFebruary, 2012 Ex. Santragachi and from 27th February, 2012 Ex. HuzurSahib Nanded. Accordingly Train No. 12768 Santragachi-Huzursahib Nanded Weekly Express will depart Santragachi at 14.50 hrs on Wednesdays from 22nd Feb. 2012 and arrive Huzursahib Nandedat 18.50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction Train No. 12767 HuzurSahib Nanded-Santragachi Weekly Express will depart HuzurSahib Nanded at 15.15 hrs on Mondays from 27thFebruary, 2012and arrive Santragachi at 19.15 hrs on the next day. Enroute these trains will stop at Mudkhed, Himayatnagar, Kinwat, Adilabad, Majri, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, and Kharagpur. These trains will have Sixteen coaches viz., one AC II Tier, one AC III tier, Six Sleeper class, Six General Second class and two second class luggage cum brake vans Coaches.
4)Mangalore Central – Santragachi - Mangalore Central Weekly Super Fast Vivek Express:- Mangalore-Santragachi-Mangalore weekly Super Fast Vivek Express will be introduced from 25th February, 2012 EX. Mangalore and from 1st March, 2012 Ex.Santragachi.AccordinglyTrain No. 22852 Mangalore- Santragachi Weekly Super Fast Vivek Express will depart Mangalore Central at 22. 45 hrs on Saturdays from 25th February, 2012and arrive Santragachi at 17.50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train.No.22851 Santragachi-Mangalore Central Vivek Superfast Weekly Express will depart Santragachi at 16 05 hrs on Thursdaysfrom 1st March, 2012 and arrive Mangalore Central at 09 45 hrs on the next day.Enroute these trains will stop at Kharagpur, Jaleswar, Balasore, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Srikakulam Road,Vijayanagaram, Vishakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Kannur, Kanhangad,and Kasargod. These trains will have eighteeencoaches one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum brake vans Coaches.
