Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Honorable Minister for Railways, will commission the 58 Km. long Raichur-Gadwal new railway line at 10:30 hrs on 12th October, 2013 at a inaugural function to be held at Raichur Railway Station.
He will also flag off the inaugural run of new DEMU passenger train services Viz., No.77690/94 Raichur-Gadwal/Kacheguda DEMU after commissioning the new line.
Dr. Sharanaprakash Patil, Honorable Minister for Medical Education, Govt. of Karnataka and District In-charge Minister, Raichur District; Shri S. Pakkirappa, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Raichur); Shri Shivaramagouda, Honorable Member of Parliament (Koppal) other public representatives concerned, dignitaries and senior railway officials will participate in the inaugural function.
The inaugural train will depart Raichur at 11: 30 hrs. Enroute, this Train will depart Chandrabanda Halt at 11:55 hrs, Pandurangaswamy Road at 1215, Priyadarshini Jurala Project Road Halt at 12:33 hrs and arrive Gadwal at 13:30 hrs.
The inaugural train, on its arrival at Gadwal on 12th October, 2013, will be received by Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Honorable Minister for Housing, Weaker Section Housing Programme, AP Co-op. HSF & APHB, Govt. of AP & District In-charge Minister (Mahbubnagar District); Smt. D. K. Aruna, Honorable Minister for I&PR, Cinematography, AP Film, TV and Theatre Development Corporation, Govt. of AP and Dr. Manda Jagannath, Honorable Member of Parliament, Nagarkurnool.
