Extension of Summer Special Trains

Railways have decided to extend the run of summer special trains between Dadar and Sawantwadi Road to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:



01003 special train will leave Dadar at 7.50 am o­n 4.6.2013 & 7.6.2013 (2 trips) and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 8.15 pm same day.



01004 special train will leave Sawantwadi Road 5.00 am o­n 5.6.2013 & 8.6.2013 (2 trips) and will arrive Dadar 4.00 pm same day.



HALTS: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilawade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Zarap.



COMPOSITION: One AC Chair car, 8 Sleeper class, 2 General second class and 2 General second class cum Guard’s Brake vans.



RESERVATION:  Bookings open from 2.6.2013

AUGMENTATION

In view to provide passengers comfort to the commuters and also to clear the huge wait list passengers during the peak season, East Coast Railway has taken steps to augment additional coaches in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express and Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Intercity express from 1st June to 30th June 2013.

          22811/22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will be augmented with Three AC-3 tier coaches and o­ne AC-2tier coach during the period. Similarly, 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express will augmented with o­ne AC Chair Car coach during the period. 

Unreserved Spl between Hyderabad and Kakinada Town

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will  run a Janatha Special Train between Hyderabad-Kakinada Town-Hyderabad as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07101 Hyderabad-Kakinada Town Janatha Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 22 50 hrs o­n 31st May, 2013 (Friday) and arrive Kakinada Town  at 09 25 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07102 Kakinada Town - HyderabadSpecial Train will depart Kakinada Town at 19 15 hrs o­n 1st June, 2013 (Saturday) and arrive Hyderabad at 05 50 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, this train will   stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot Stations in both the directions.



            These trains will comprise of 14 General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches totalling to 16 coaches. 

Delhi Patna AC summer special Extended

04040  train will depart from New Delhi at 2:35 pm and arrive at Kanpur at 8:20 pm, Allahabad at 10:20 pm, Mughalsarai at 12 midnight, Buxar at 1:28 am, Ara at 2:14 am and terminate at Patna at 5:00 am. During the return journey, 04039 train will depart from Patna at about 12:15 pm and arrive at Ara at 1:20 pm, Buxar at 2:27 pm, Mughalsarai at 4:05 pm, Allahabad at 6:15 pm, Kanpur at 8:50 pm and finally terminate at New Delhi at 400 am.


This train will depart from Patna on May 31 and June 1,3,4,6,7,9,10,12 and 13 and from New Delhi end on May 30, 31 and June 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11 and 12.

This train comprises of one first AC Class, four AC-II tier and seven AC-III tier coaches.

Special Trains Between Aurangabad-Tirupati & Nanded-Pune

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will  run the following  Special Trains  between  Aurangabad-Tirupati & Nanded-Pune during the months of  May and June, 2013 as per the following schedules:-

 1.Aurangabad-Tirupati-Aurangabad Summer Special Trains (2 Services):

 Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-TirupatiSummer Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs o­n 31st May (Friday), 2013  and arriveTirupatiat 19 00 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07406 Tirupati - Aurangabad Summer Special Train will depart Tirupati at 21 15 hrs o­n 1st June, 2013 (Saturday) and arrive Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta Stations.

 These special trains will have 15 Coaches viz., o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

 2.Nanded-Pune-Nanded Special Trains (via Parli 4 services):

 Train No.07631 Nanded-Pune Special Train will depart Nanded at 06 15 hrs o­n   12thand 26th June, 2013 (Wednesdays) and arrive Pune at 20 00 hrs o­n the same day. In return direction, Train No. 07632 Pune-Nanded Special Trainwill depart Pune at 21 05 hrs o­n  12th and 26th June, 2013 (Wednesdays) andarrive Nanded at 13 20 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Parli, Latur Rd, Latur, Usmanabad, Kurdwadi and Daund Stations.

 These trains will consists of 11Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, three Sleeper Class, four general Second Class, two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

 3.Nanded-Pune-Nanded Special Trains (via Manmad 4 services):

 Train No.07629 Nanded-PuneSpecial Train will departNanded at 06 15 hrs o­n  5th and 19th June, 2013 (Wednesdays) and arrive Pune at 21 05 hrs o­n the same day. In return direction, Train No. 07630 Pune-Nanded  Special Train will depart Pune at 22 15 hrs  on  5th and 19th June, 2013 (Wednesdays) andarrive Nanded at 14 30 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Kipargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar and Daund Stations.

 These trains will consists of 11Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, five Sleeper Class, two general Second Class, two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of rail passengers during Summer season, Railways have decided to run below mentioned Special Trains as per thefollowing programme:-

Ludhiana-Saharsa-Ambala Cantt. Express Special Train (Bi-Weekly)

The 04504 Ludhiana-Saharsa (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special Express train will depart from Ludhiana at 10:25 a.m. from 27.05.2013 to 28.06.2013 (10 trips) on every Monday & Friday to reach Saharsa at 4:10 p.m. the next day.In the return direction, the 04503 Saharsa-Ambala Cantt. (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special Express train will depart from Saharsa at 08:05 p.m. from 28.05.2013 to 29.06.2013 (10 trips) on every Tuesday& Saturday to reach Ambala Cantt.at 11:30 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of twelve General Second Class coaches and two brake-cum-Luggage Vans, the 04504 Ludhiana-Saharsa Summer Special Express train will stop at Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt., Jagadari, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Mankapur, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Sewan, Chhapra, Sonepur, Hajipur, Muzzafarpur, Samastipur, Ruseraghat, Hasanpur Road, Khagria and Mansi Stationstations. While its return service i.e. the 04503 Saharsa-Ambala Cantt Summer Special Express train will short terminate at Ambala Cantt station only.

New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi AC Superfast Express Special Train (nominated days)

The 04040 New Delhi-Patna AC Superfast Express Special train will depart from New Delhi at 02:35 p.m. on 30/5, 31/05, 02/06, 03/06, 05/06, 06/06, 08/06, 09/06, 11/06 and 12/06/13 (eight trips) to reach Patna at 05:00 a.m. the next day.In the return direction, the 04039 Patna-New Delhi AC Superfast Express Special train will depart from Patna at 12:15 p.m. on 31/5, 01/06, 03/06, 04/06, 06/06, 07/06, 09/06, 10/06, 12/06 and 13/06/13 (eight trips) to reach New Delhi at 04:00 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of one first AC, four A.C.2 Tier, seven A.C. 3 Tier coaches the 04040/04039 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi AC Superfast Express Special Express train will stop at Ghaziabad, Chipiana Buzurg, Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations enroute in both directions.

Chandigarh-Varanasi-Chandigarh Express Special Train (Thrice a Week)

The 04506 Chandigarh-Varanasi Express Special train will depart from Chandigarh at 11:15 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 03.06.2103 to 29.06.2013(twelve trips) to reach Varanasi at 05:30 p.m. the next day.In the return direction, The 04505 Varanasi –ChandigarhExpress Special train will depart from Varanasi at 09:10p.m. on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 04.06.2103 to 30.06.2013(twelve trips) to reach Chandigarh at 02:30 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of nine Sleeper Class, seven General Second Class coaches and two brake-cum-luggage vans the 04506/04505 Chandigarh-Varanasi-Chandigarh Express Special train will stop at Ambala Cantt., Jagadhari, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations enroute in both directions.

Chennai Central–Madurai-Chennai Central Duronto to run in Salem-Namakkal-Karur section

Train No. 22605/22206 Chennai Central–Madurai-Chennai Central Duronto AC biweekly express would run on the newly-laid Salem-Namakkal-Karur section with effect from Monday from Chennai Central and from Tuesday from Madurai.

Train No. 22205 Chennai Central- Madurai express would leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and reach Madurai at 7 a.m. the next day. Train No. 22606 Madurai-Chennai Central express would leave Madurai at 10.40 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and reach Chennai Central at 7.10 a.m. the next day, a statement said.

Temporarily cancelled on Sunday only

The following passenger trains would be temporarily cancelled on Sundays for three months from May 26 to August 25 to facilitate periodical maintenance of track and bridges in Madurai division for safe running of trains.

Introduction of Train by SCR

South Central Railway will introduce a Weekly Superfast Express Train between Tirupati and Karimnagar, which will be inaugurated from Tirupati o­n 29th May 2013. Thereafter, the regular services will commence from 30th May 2013 (inaugural train service from Karimnagar). The schedule of the Superfast Express Train service is as follows:

1.Train No. 12761 / 12762 Tirupati-Karimnagar-Tirupati Weekly Superfast Express:

Inaugural Service:

Train No. 02761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Superfast Express o­n its inaugural run will depart Tirupati o­n 29thMay 2013 at 15 30 hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 04 15 hrs o­n the next day.

Regular Service:

Train No. 12762 Karimnagar-Tirupati Weekly Superfast Express will depart Karimnagar every Thursday from 30thMay 2013 at 19 15 hrs and arrive Tirupati at 08 05 hrs o­n the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No. 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Weekly Superfast Express will depart Tirupati every Wednesday from 5thJune 2013 at 22 40 hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 11 15 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these trains will stop at Peddapalli, Jammikunta, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta stations in both the directions.

These trains will comprise of o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to eighteen coaches.



South Central Railway will introduce two new Express Trains viz., Secunderabad-Shalimar (Kolkata) Air Conditioned Weekly Superfast Express and Kacheguda-Madurai Weekly Express, as announced in the Railway Budget 2012. These two new Express Trains, o­n their Inaugural run will be Flagged Off from Secunderabad Railway Station o­n 28th May 2013 at 11 00 hrs by Shri Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways and Shri M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Secunderabad in the presence of other public representatives and dignitaries.

The schedule of the two new Express Trains is as follows:

1.Train No. 12774 / 12773 Secunderabad-Shalimar-Secunderabad Weekly A/C Superfast Express:

Inaugural Service:

Train No. 02774 Secunderabad-Shalimar A/C Superfast Express o­n its inaugural run will depart Secunderabad o­n 28th May 2013 at 11 00 hrs and arrive Shalimar at 14 35 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 02773 Shalimar-Secunderabad A/C Superfast Express will depart Shalimar o­n 29th May 2013 at 19 00 hrsand arrive Secunderabad at 22 00 hrs o­n the next day.

Regular Service:

Train No. 12774 Secunderabad-Shalimar A/C Weekly Superfast Express will depart Secunderabad every Tuesday from 4th June 2013 at 05 30 hrs and arrive Shalimar at 09 05 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 12773 Shalimar-Secunderabad A/C Weekly Superfast Express will depart Shalimar every Wednesday from 5th June 2013 at 16 05 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 19 00 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute these trains will stop at Warangal, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Rd, Brahmapur, Khurda Rd, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack , Balasore, Kharagpur and Santragachi stations in both the directions.

 These trains will comprise of o­ne First AC, three AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two Generator cum Brake Van Coaches totalling to seventeen coaches.

2.Train No. 17615 / 17616 Kacheguda-Madurai- Kacheguda Weekly Express:

Inaugural Service:

Train No. 07615 Kacheguda-Madurai Weekly Express o­n its inaugural run will depart Kacheguda o­n 28th May 2013 at 11 00 hrs and arrive Madurai at 12 00 hrs o­n the next day.

 In the return direction, Train No. 07616 Madurai - Kacheguda Weekly Express will depart Madurai o­n 29th May 2013 at 15 00 hrs and arrive Kacheguda at 16 00 hrs o­n the next day.

Regular Service:

 Train No. 17615 Kacheguda-Madurai Weekly Express will depart Kacheguda at 06 05 hrs every Saturday from 1st June 2013 and arrive Madurai at 07 00 hrs o­n the next day.

 In the return direction, Train No. 17616 Madurai - Kacheguda Weekly Express will depart Madurai at 12 50 hrs every Sunday from 2nd June 2013 and arrive Kacheguda at 14 05 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute these trains will stop at Mahboobnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool Town, Dhone, Ananthapur, Dharmavaram, Madanapalle Rd, Piler, Pakala, Chittoor, Katpadi, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirrapalli, Dindigul and Kodaikanal Rd stations in both the directions.

 These trains will comprise of o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van coaches totalling to eighteen coaches.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

 T.No.12510/12509 Guwahati – Bangalore – Guwahati Tri-weekly Super fast express trains will be permanently augmented 1 AC 2-tier coach with effect from 03.06.2013 ex. Guwahati and 06.06.2013 ex.Bangalore.

Temporary Augmentation

 The 09602/09601 Udhampur- Ajmer- Udhampur (Weekly) Summer Special Express train will be augmented by o­ne A.C. 2 Tier coach upto 26.06.2013 when departing from Ajmer and upto 27.06.2013 when departing from Udhampur o­n temporary basis.

SUMMER SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN NEW DELHI- SEALDAH

For the convenience of rail passengers during Summer season, Railway has decided to run Superfast Summer Special train no. 03002/03001 between New Delhi and Sealdah as per the following programme:-

 03002/03001 New Delhi- Sealdah- New Delhi Superfast Summer Special Express

 The 03002 New Delhi- Sealdah Superfast Summer Special Express train will depart from New Delhi o­n 27.05.2013 (01 trip) at 11.45 p.m. to reach Sealdah at 11.45 p.m. the next day.The 03001 Sealdah- New Delhi Superfast Summer Special Express train will depart from Sealdah o­n 26.05.2013 (01 trip) at 06.40 p.m. to reach New Delhi at 05.00 p.m. the next day.

 Consisting of o­ne A.C. 2 Tier, Five A.C. 3 Tier and Eight Sleeper Class coaches, the 03002/03001 New Delhi- Sealdah- New Delhi Superfast Summer Special Express train will stop at Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Dehri-on-sone, Gaya, Koderma, Dhanbad and Asansol stations enroute in both the directions.

Secunderabad-Jaipur-Secunderabad Weekly Express to be Introduced

Tr. No. 19714/19713 Secunderabad-Jaipur-Secunderabad Weekly Express which was announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13 will be introduced o­n 25thMay 2013 at a function to be held at Jaipur.

Accordingly, Train No. 19713 Jaipur-Secunderabad Weekly Express on its maiden run will depart Jaipur at 21 10 hrs o­n Saturdays and arrive Secunderabad at 07 30 hrs o­n Mondays.

 In the return direction, Train No. 19714 Secunderabad-Jaipur Weekly Express will depart Secunderabad at 22 00 hrs o­n Mondays with effect from 27th May 2013 and arrive Jaipur at 06 15 hrs o­n Wednesdays.

 Enroute these trains will stop at Medchal, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, H.S.Nanded, Purna, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Murtajapur, Badnera, New Amravati, Betul, Berchha, Chandan Bazar, Narkher, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Sehore, Shujalpur, Ujjain, Nagda, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Banasthali Newai and Durgapur stations.

 These trains will have 22 Coaches viz., o­ne First cum II Tier AC, two AC II Tier and five AC III Tier and ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van coaches.

Salient Features of Secunderabad - Jaipur Express:

·It is the first originating train from Hyderabad, directly connecting Jaipur. At present, there is o­nly o­ne pass-through train viz., Mysore-Jaipur express which offered a direct Rail link between these two cities.

·This train passes through the states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, linking three Capitals – Hyderabad, Bhopal and Jaipur. It traverses a distance of 1731 km in around 32 hours with 29 halts in between.

·This Service, which was announced in Rail Budget 2012, will provide an affordable and convenient travel facility to the Central and North-Western parts of the country from the Deccan region, serving the needs of various segments of passengers like tourists, pilgrims, employees, students o­n this route.
This enhanced Rail connectivity to Jaipur will especially be of immense use for several people from Rajasthan who settled in / frequently visit the twin cities mainly for trading and business purpose. 

SCR runs the first ever Janatha Special

Keeping in view the general summer rush of passengers and especially in the light of anticipated passenger demand in the coming days, South Central Railway has taken an initiative to run a special express train - Janatha Special, between Hyderabad and Kakinada consisting of o­nly unreserved second class coaches o­n an experimental basis.

             This service is mainly aimed at general second class passengers and those passengers who could not secure reservation and are ready to travel in unreserved coaches.This service will also be helpful in reducing the pressure o­n the general coaches of the regular trains in this route.This Janatha Special is designed to provide an affordable overnight travel facility with convenient timings in the busy route of Hyderabad-Kazipet-Khammam- Vijayawada-Rajahmundry-Kakinada. This train is provided limited halts (10 o­nly) and covers a distance of 574 kms. in 10 hrs. 35 minutes.The fare between Hyderabad and Kakinada by this train is Rs.145/-.

             This first everJanatha Special service with Train No. 07101 will leave Hyderabad at 22:50 hrs. tomorrow ie. 25th May, 2013 and will arrive Kakinada Town at 09:25 hrs. the next day.In the return direction, Train No. 07102 will leave Kakinada Town at 19:15 hrs. o­n 26th May, 2013 and will arrive Hyderabadat 05:50 hrs. the next day.

              Enroute, this train willstop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru,Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot Stations in both the directions.

             The train will comprise of 14 general second class and 2 second class luggage cum brake van coaches totalling to 16 coaches.

             Passengers are requested to avail the service of this special express train with all unreserved second class coaches

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE

As per the directives of Railway Board, South Western Railway has provided a minute’s temporary stoppage at CHORGI HALT Station situated between Nimbal and Indi Road on Bagalkot-Solapur Section of Hubli Division,for Train No. 57642 BAGALKOT-SOLAPUR PASSENGER,with immediate effect for a period of six months.



Accordingly, Train No. 57642 BAGALKOT-SOLAPUR PASSENGER arrives/departs at CHORGI HALT station at 07-36/07-37 hrs., with immediate effect for a period of six months.

Special Weekly Trains Between Bangalore and Patna

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Twelve Special Trains will be run between Bangalore and Patna as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 06513 Bangalore - Patna Special Train will depart Bangalore at 10 10 hrs o­n 21st, 28th May and 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th June, 2013  (Tuesdays) and arrive Patna at 09 50 hrs o­n Thursdays.

In the return direction, Train No.06514 Patna- Bangalore Special Train will depart Patna at 20 20 hrs o­n 23rd, 30th May and 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June, 2013 (Thursdays) and arrive Bangalore at 21 00 hrs o­n Saturdays.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Bangalore Cantt, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Ramagundam, Sirpur Kagaz Nagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Sewagram, Nagpur, Pandhurna, Betul, Ghoradongri, Itarsi, Piparia, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki, Mirzapur, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations in both the directions.
These trains will consist 19 coaches viz, Seventeen General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

The 14854/14864/14866-14853/14863/14865 Jodhpur Jn- Varanasi Jn- Jodhpur Jn Marudhar  Express Train will be augmented by o­ne Additional 3 AC Coach (total 22 coaches) from 19.05.2013  to 30.06.2013 when departing from Jodhpur Jn & from 20.05.2013  to 01.07.2013 when departing from Varanasi Jn. The 24888/24887 Barmer to Haridwar Jn- Barmer Express Train will be augmented by o­ne Additional Sleeper Class (total 21 coaches) from 19.05.2013  to 30.06.2013 when departing from Barmer & from 20.05.2013  to 01.07.2013 when departing from Haridwar Jn. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

The 14205/14206 Delhi Jn- Faizabad Jn- Delhi Jn. Express Train will be augmented by o­ne Additional General Class (total 17 coaches) from 21.05.2013  to 03.07.2013 when departing from Delhi Jn & from 18.05.2013  to 30.06.2013 when departing from Faizabad Jn. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

 The 14207/14208 Delhi Jn- Partapgarh Jn- Delhi Jn. Express Train will be augmented by o­ne Additional General Class (total 17 coaches) from 19.05.2013to 01.07.2013 when departing from Delhi Jn & from 20.05.2013to 02.07.2013 when departing from Partapgarh Jn. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

SCR to introduce Tirupati-Karimnagar- Tirupati Weekly Superfast Express

As announced in the Railway Budget 2012, South Central Railway will introduce Train No. 12761/12762 Tirupati – Karimnagar- Tirupati Weekly Superfast Express. The inaugural special service of the train will be run from Tirupati o­n 22ndMay 2013 while the inaugural special service will be run from Karimnagar o­n 23rdMay 2013. The regular services will commence Ex. Tirupati from 29thMay 2013 and Ex. Karimnagar from 30th May 2013.

The schedule of the new train service is as follows:

Inaugural Special Service:

Train No. 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Inaugural Special Train willdepart Tirupati at 15 30 hrs o­n 22ndMay, 2013 and arrive Karimnagar at 04 15 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 12762 Karimnagar-Tirupati Inaugural Special Train willdepart Karimnagar at 19 15 hrs o­n 23rd May, 2013 and arrive Tirupati at 08 05 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Jamikunta, and Peddapalli stations in both the directions.

 These trains will have 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

Regular Service:

Train No. 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Weekly Superfast Express willdepart Tirupati every Wednesday ( from 29th May 2013) at 22 40 hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 11 15 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute, the train will arrive/depart Renigunta at 22 55/22 57 hrs, Srikalahasti at 23 16/23 18 hrs, Gudur at 00 30/00 32 hrs the next day, Vijayawada at 04 50/05 00 hrs, Madhira at 05 50/ 05 55 hrs, Khammam at 06 22/06 23 hrs, Mahabubabad at 07 11/07 12 hrs, Warangal at 07 55/07 57 hrs, Jammikunta at 08 44/08 45 hrs and Peddapalli at 09 25/09 40 hrs.

 In the return direction, Train No. 12762 Karimnagar-Tirupati Weekly Superfast Express willdepart Karimnagar every Thursday (from 30th May 2013) at 19 15 hrs and arrive Tirupati at 08 05 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute, the train will arrive/depart Peddapalli at 19 55/20 10 hrs, Jammikunta at 20 30/20 31 hrs, Warangal at 21 36/21 37 hrs, Mahabubabad at 22 37/22 38 hrs, , Khammam at 23 19/23 20 hrs, Madhira at 00 09/00 10 hrs the next day, Vijayawada at 01 30/01 40 hrs, Gudur at 06 08/06 10 hrs, Srikalahasti at 06 52/06 54 hrs and Renigunta at 07 35/07 37 hrs.

The Weekly Superfast Express will comprise of 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

WR TO RUN URS SPECIAL TRAIN

  For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush, Western Railway will run Urs special trains between Mumbai and Jaipur / Ajmer.

Bandra Terminus – Jaipur URS Special Train

            Train No.09644 Bandra Terminus – Jaipur Urs Special will leave Bandra Terminus  at 23.55 hrs o­n 18th May 2013  and reach Jaipur at 22.40 hrs  the next day. This train will be run Ex. Jaipur 09643 Jaipur - Bandra Terminus Urs Special o­n 20th May,2013 at 23.30 hrs to reach Bandra Terminus at 22.00 hrs the next day.

Enroute, the train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Sidhpur, Chhapi, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar Jn, Beawar and Dorai stations .

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN ANAND VIHAR T.- DARBHANGA

For the convenience of rail passengers during Summer season, Railway has decided to run Bi-Weekly Summer Special train no. 05288/05287 between Anand Vihar T. and Darbhanga as per the  following programme:-

The 05288 Anand Vihar T.- Darbhanga (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special train will depart from Anand Vihar T. at 07.30 p.m. from 21.05.2013 to 04.06.2013 (05 trips) o­n every Tuesday & Friday to reach Darbhanga at 09.00 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction, the 05287 Darbhanga- Anand Vihar T. (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special train will depart from Darbhanga at 03.00 p.m. from 20.05.2013 to 03.06.2013 (05 trips) o­n every Monday & Thursday to reach Anand Vihar T. at 04.10 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of o­ne A.C.2 Tier, Two A.C. 3 Tier, Eleven Sleeper Class, Five General Class and Two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 05288/05287 Anand Vihar T.- Darbhanga- Anand Vihar T. (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly,  Shahjahanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deorai Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonepur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur & Samastipur  stations enroute in both the directions.
